Warm welcome from Charl and Una, room large and well equipped and very clean. Garden well kept with pool and loungers. Breakfast delicious and copious with Charl at hand to answer any questions about what to do where to eat etc. Valentine's Day lunch at Bufflesdrift was a marvellous treat. Will return again if we get the chance. Thanks again...

From the fotos we had seen, we expected a nice patio near our room. Unfortunately this was not the case and in order to sit outside, we had to unlock a door leading to the swimmingpool, where there was ample place to sit and relax. As the room was a bit smallish, with not much space to leave your luggage,...

The owners were very nice and also advised us about things to do in Oudtshoorn and the planning of the rest of our journey. Safe place to park our Harley Davidson bikes. Very nice place to stay! Would certainly go back next time! Best regards, Luc, Jos, Marc, Jan-Piet, Henk, Gronsveld, Netherlands

The staff were always very helpful. It was a relaxing stay in a small and friendly guesthouse with lovely light rooms, a small garden with pool. It is quiet and you wouldn't think you were in the middle of Oudtshoorn.

I spent just one night here but i loved it! I felt like home and the owners were very nice and friendly. The breakfast was also amazing. The internet connection didn't work so good but looking back that didn't bother me so much. Overall I had a very good experience here and I will certainly come back or recommend it.

Yamkela is a lovely guesthouse in the middle of Oudtshoorn, just a short walk from a variety of restaurants. The hosts are very welcoming and the rooms are beautiful, comfortable and clean. We would definitely visit Yamkela again.

My husband and I were on our honeymoon and stayed one night at Yamkela. We had an amazing experience and would definitely stay again. We were made to feel very welcome on arrival, our room was beautiful, private and clean and the location was excellent. We walked to a very nice restaurant that was close by for dinner and received...

We stayed one night during our travels. We had a large room with twin beds on the second level with French doors and a small table & chairs outside looking over the pool and garden area. Bathroom had both a bathtub and shower (and was very large). We had a very nice breakfast in the morning. Everything about our stay...

We had a fabulous stay. The rooms were comfy and spacious and the location was very central. We could walk to all the best restaurants, and Buffelsdrift Game Lodge was less than 10 minutes drive. Highly recommend!

Very welcoming host and hostess. The breakfast was very good eggs, sausages, fresh fruits. Just a little deceptive to say there is a pool since it is tiny. Room however was very comfortable and spacious
