Quant little hotel, easy to find. Parking under shade netting. Room clean and tidy, bed comfortable. Large flat screen tv with DSTV. Free wifi however I battled to connect saying incorrect password continuously so I eventually gave up. Extra plug next to bed which is very helpful when charging laptop while working. One thing I did miss is fridge, especially...

Our tour group of 30 people stayed here for one night. The hotel is made up of 16 rondavel round chalets and some terraced cottages. People in the rondavels enjoyed their stay, those in the chalets less so. I was in chalet 17 and it was rustic to say the least. Bathroom was tiny and desperately in need of an...

It might seem like it is in the middle of nowhere and a long way from town (it is), but the property is quaint, delightful and spending the night in a typical African rondele with a pointed thatch roof, is certainly a treat. Basic accommodations and only a few rooms available. Excellent breakfast buffet and the BBQ dinners out by...

The staff was friendly and the hut itself was quaint, but there was no heat in our room which left it ridiculously cold. It was so uncomfortably freezing in our room that we only spent time there when it was absolutely necessary. Also, the wifi connection in the room was very poor and led to difficulty doing research on things...

Good Morning I truly regret not having been able to meet your expectations, and though I am not able to undo the negative impression received, I would highly appreciate if you would give us another chance to prove to you, that we can do much better than what you recently have experienced with us. I am concerned why the room...

I recently stayed over in Oudtshoorn on business. The hotel is not very big but comfortable. It is located in the main road and that makes it easy to find with easy access to local shops when needed. The grounds are very well maintained and you can take a lovely walk about. Brenda Corke Department of Basic Education

A little out of town, but a very pleasant place to stay. Welcoming drink, clean fresh rooms, bathrooms would benefit from some shelving. Lovely breakfast and friendly staff. Full Se unity, off street car parking.

When I travel South Africa I always try to avoid the big hotels. The Riempie Estate Hotel does belong to the Protea Hotel group, but it's small and beautiful. The rooms,or in this case the huts and houses are set up beautifully in the garden. I love the round huts (rondavels) they are beautifully decorated and offer plenty of space....
