The setting is really beautiful and you can take a walk in the gardens surrounding the rooms. The staff is very attentive (they even wash your car before you head out!) & the owner comes to great you at your table during diner. The meal was really enjoyable with tasty food and a good choice of wine. However we were...

We were at the Cango caves When we decided to stay in oudtshoorn for the night. Luckily thorntree had a room for us and our three young children. The country house has the most beautiful gardens and the staff are very friendly. We had a inter leading room that was very clean. Crisp linen and fresh towels. Loved the ostrich...

Louis promised it and he delivered. It is absolutely impossible to leave the place without a smile on your face. Now it's almost perfect and...

We stayed here one night wile travelling the four southern Countries in Africa while on a 21 day motorcycle trip with Renedian Adventures. This place is like a Villa you would find in Italy. Very nice people, food and accommodation . Very large rooms with a huge Bathroom. Great place to stay and eat.

Very good chalets, great service, food was really excellent - breakfast and dinner. The owner also speaks Spanish. This was an old farmhouse which he has converted, and added more chalets, but keeping the 1800's look.
