We hat a short stint at Len's place due to a wedding but what an awesome find. Relaxed atmosphere, spacious rooms and great views. It is close enough to De Rust to make an easy trip to town or relax in the Jacuzzi with views of the mountains. Len is very relaxed and makes one feel welcome without being intrusive....

This was our second stop and were slightly dubious as it is quite a distance from Oudtshoorn. However, we were made so welcome by Len, his chef and his 6 dogs (and Garfield). The rooms were very comfortable and had all that was needed for a short stay. The views were magnificant and the food was excellent. Len has a...

We stayed a night and Len welcomed us alongside his 6 dogs and fat cat Garfield and we instantly felt at home. Villas are very comfortable to sleep the 3 of us and hosts a wide open field for excellent star gazing at night and looks out to the countryside and snow cap mountains. Just a short distance from Oudtstoorn's...

What a magnificent piece of paradise! We stayed over at Thabile Lodge for 1 night and came home feeling like we had been away for a week. Excellent food, warm and luxurious accommodation and fantastic company. The view is amazing and the snow on the mountains was exquisite. Thank you Len for your hospitality

We stayed with our 2 daughters, 6 and 5. We booked 2 adjacent cottages and stayed with Len for 2 nights - we wished we had stayed much longer... Len was the most wonderful host, with a wicked sense of humour! He treated us like friends and we had lovely meals in his company and that of his staff. Cottages...

On our recent round trip combining the Little Karoo with the Garden Route we especially enjoyed staying at Thabile Lodge thanks to its wonderful location and great views of the surrounding countryside but also because of its owner's Len friendliness, charm and openness. After only one night you feel like an old family member including the dogs and the very...

My parents and I stayed one night on our drive from Addo Elephant Park to Paarl, and I agree with some of the other reviewers in saying that we wish we could have stayed longer. First off, Thabile is not really “in” Oudtshoorn, it’s more by De Rust and up a long dirt road where you second-guess yourself if you’re...

We stayed overnight from CT to JHB - really wished we could have stayed for longer. My 2 boys aged 6 and 2 were devastated to leave the ostriches and especially the gorgeous dogs. The food and company was as awesome as the setting and the accommodation. Can not recommend this place highly enough - but make sure you stay...

This was our last stop of our unforgettable Garden Route-journey and by far the most pleasant stop. We stayed here for 2 nights. We had no expectations about this place. To be honoust, we were very curious because it was a bit outside the city but when we got there we had a very warm welcome by Lennie. What a...
