My husband and I were thoroughly delighted and enchanted by our stay at Palmiet Valley Estate having found in it everything we had hoped to discover in the famed South African wine district. The staff were most attentive to our special celebration (30th wedding anniversary) assigning us a lovely room per our request. They had the independent forethought to make...

We spent 4 days at Palmiet Valley Estate which is a Five Star Boutique Hotel on a working wine farm. As soon as you go through the gates you are treated to a view of magnificent manicured gardens in the middle of which are the Cape Colony thatched buildings of this lovely hotel. This hotel is small enough to provide...

Travelling with two children through Southafrica means:it is not always easy to find a beautiful and luxurious hotel or lodge that would accept you, except you book two rooms,so that means you double the price...Not in Palmiet! We had a lovely lodge, two bedrooms, and a small bathroom. All that for a good price.Beautiful place, surrounded by a fantastic garden...to recommend!

A unique place to be. Each room is different and furnished with antiques. Breakfast is served outside on a table covered with rose leaves surrounded by hortensies and trees. You must see the selection of Mercedes oldtimers. I love the dog named Konrad.

We had good holidays in cape town, but what topped it the best was our 25th silver wedding anniversary held at the Palmiet Valley Estate in Paarl. They made it a fantastic day to remember, the food, the service, and even the minister was all excellent. Definately a day to remember and what better way to spend it really happy...

We got married at Palmiet and stayed there for 2 nights. The setting is spectacular and the rooms are very comfortable. The staff at Palmiet were extremely helpful in regard to the wedding arrangements, which we had to organise from a distance. The food at the hotel was good but we would have preferred the option to eat breakfast and...

My husband Jonathan and I were married at Palmiet on October 24, 2009. He was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa and I am from the U.S. Both of our families and friends were able to attend and had a wonderful time. The ambiance, food and service was great. The grounds are naturally stunning and made for a...

We felt like private guests at a well kept manor house, cook made small dishes at request and made us celebrate a candle light dinner worthy of a great restaurant. Going to the breakfast area - surrounded by shoulder hight hydrangea and overshadowed by a huge oak(?) and finding a table set with white linen and sprinkled with rose petals...

We had a wonderful and relaxed staying in this hotel. The breakfast was fantastic and delicious. As we only had one night, we felt very sad, that we had to leave to go further.
