I loved staying at the Apple Tree Guest House in Stellenbosch. It is a fairly small guest house (8 rooms), has a small pool, nice sitting areas inside and outdoors. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The house is situated in a quiet residential area the outskirts of the small town. It takes 10-15 minutes to walk to the...

Enjoyed our stay at Apple Tree guest house. Owner's and staff were very nice and friendly. Wished the location had been more central to the main restaurant hub. Our room had a nice position around the pool and was clean and comfortable if not a little tired. Needs a update.

Spacious clean rooms, very helpful stuff. Located only 10 min walk from city center. Cars can be parked on the yard inside walls. Nice breakfast every morning, and if you felt, you coud go to fridge your self. You wanted a glass of wine, just take it and write a slip. Feels easygoing.

Michael runs a fabulous establishment. Lovely rooms beautifully decorated. Great breakfast served by friendly staff who happily go the extra mile. He and Noeline are very knowledgeable about the area and happy to recommend restaurants, as well as book them if you require. Easy walk into Stellenbosch in the day or evening. Pointed out a minor fault in room &...

The place is cozy and nice. A nice courtyard to relax in. However, some distance from the city center and no place to walk around when it is dark. Difficult to get a taxi to and from the city. Felt a bit trapped behind the bars. The breakfast and staff was amazing.

The reception was excellent. We were very pleased with our living space, very tidy and comfortable. The dining room was well prepared, a good buffet breakfast. the only minor problem was the flies around the food. Advice: an ultra violet light machine small enough over the table against the wall (obtainable from most Pest Control outlets) would keep them away.

A delightful B and B close to the centre of Stellenbosch. Ideal for a base for your wine tours. Our hosts offered assistance to book reservations and nothing was too much trouble for them. We would stay again, when next in South Africa. Enjoy!.

The Apple Tree Guesthouse is a perfect base for a Stellenbosch and wineyard visit. Safe and in walking distance to the Center. Excellent Breakfast, great hospitality, nice rooms. Only someone Moskitos disturbed our sleep.
