A beautiful place in the middle of the wine region. The landscaping of the outer area is absolute gorgeous with pool and an affectionately cared-for dreamlike garden. Fiona and her staff are very warm and caring persons. Her tips for dinner were very useful. The rooms are lovingly equipped. We enjoyed our stay with Fiona and for sure, we´ll come...

We stayed at Acara for a midweek and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Fiona is a wonderful host, her staff is there to make your stay very comfortable. The cottages are cozy and well equipped. Fiona is there when you need her, for advice and helping you around. I almost forgot to tell about the surroundings; so very beautiful and...

We found Acara by chance but loved everything about our short time there. Fiona could not have been more welcoming and accomodating. The gardens, animals (well behaved) the furnishings of the unit was all first class. The kitchen was just like home, the Internet connection and tv worked well. Fiona was charming and helpful and obviously hard working.

Wow. This is the a true littler romantic gem. Located between. Farms in a beautiful garden with birds chirping, owls sitting in trees and generally just wonderful. Very helpful staff. Fiona helped us getting a guide to travel for a day trip to the wine farns with the best guide a family could want. It was so wonderful we decided...

After many years of visiting the Western Cape we have been looking for somewhere to replace our preferred "home from home" which is no longer available. At Acara we have found it! It ticks all the boxes for us - a family feel, small, beautiful setting, wonderful gardens, pristine pool, comfortable beds and accommodation and welcoming hosts. Add to that...

An absolutely stunning spot, a little off the main tourist track and a great find! Fiona, couldn't have been more welcoming and literally 'rescued' our holiday after our original accommodation elsewhere had been mistakenly double booked. The cottage was great, gardens absolutely beautiful and our little one loved the pool, which is pristine. We loved that it is self-catering as...

Thank you Fiona for such a wonderful 3 day stay we really wished we could have stayed longer. It was wonderful to step outside our cottage and be in your beautiful garden, and also enjoy the pool which was warm. You and your staff were always around for any help and advice and you even booked our dinner reservations for...

This is a lovely place to stay, Fiona and the staff make every effort but it remains relaxed. The rooms are well appointed and the pool is actually warm enough to get in! A rare find in the Cape. The gardens are indeed lovely and there are so many nice wineries nearby, plus Stellenbosch. A brilliant place to base yourself...

This was our second visit in two years and it is our favourite place to stay in the winelands of the Western Cape. It is hidden away in a quiet location, with a view of Helderberg, and near to all the main places to visit, both on the coast and inland. The gardens are the highlight, with the busy bird...

Thanks for a lovely time and your hospitality! From first light there's simply magical views of the mountains that combined with the lovely gardens, the pool and proximity to all our favourite vineyards make it the perfect escape to bring your favourite wines back to! The room are private and comfortable and we've stayed twice already....look forward to the next,...
