We enjoyed our stay. However the sharing of the bathroom with people you dont know isnt pleasant. This should be indicated to visitors more clearly. But overall nice stay. Enjoyed the breakfast as well.

We booked heree as it was close to a wedding venue. The room was nice enough apart from the leaky toilet however the house is incredibly noisy - you can hear everything your neighbours are up to. We were treated to midnight conversations outside our window and the screams of crying children and stomping feet. It is very evident that...

Great place but the beds were so rickety and noisy that every time you moved, even slightly, the noise was crazy and it was impossible to sleep. The noise from other rooms of the doors opening and closing all the time - presumably of guests going to the shared bathroom, was also very loud. We had to leave early and...

The Lodge is a little bit far out, but if traveling with a car, it's not a problem at all. Therefore you have a great view down the hills towards Cape Town. Everything was ok, went well, staff was friendly.

A huge old house a few minutes outside of town surrounded by fine wine country. Here independence culture was cultivated to accommodate any adventurer or person passing through on business. Families of strangers and foreign travelers come and go about their own business. The rooms are peaceful with high vaulted ceilings and old wooden floors.

Stayed there for a wedding- so did not get to explore too much. We woke up in a wonderland and we loved it! Breakfast was great and the bath was amazing! The views really take your breath away- I wish we had had more time.

there were no bottle opener - however the hostess was quick in providing one. No cooldrink glasses and the cutlery were dirty. Room service was great though with a fresh supply of linen on the second day of our stay!! Much appreciated!
