I've already expressed our complaints to the Manager but forgot to mention to her that it would've been great to have a flat sheet on the bed. This is 5-star establishment and as locals, the amount we pay, we expect service to match the star-rating

We had a very nice stay at Clouds and enjoyed it very much. Very nice welcome and service. Lovely breakfast and we also enjoyed the food and wine a lot. The pool is a great place to relax with an unbeatable view. Amazing sitting areas and garden. We will definately come back.

It was our second visit to Clouds and the views are still some of the best around. However, I feel that although the place charges high 5 star prices, it offers 3 star hospitality. The exception to the rule were 2/3 of the guys that work there, most notably Shaun who was efficient, very friendly and always met you with...

The hotel is a hidden pearl. They only have 7 rooms, all with beautiful views of the mountains, albeit the view from their one and only standard room is less impressive than from the other rooms. However still fine. The atmosphere is luxurious, the staff is very helpful and moves quietly around you. Breakfast is very good and so is...

My partner and I were lucky enough to be asked if we'd like a look thru Clouds after we'd had a lovely lunch next door (which we also loved!) on Christmas Eve. The manager welcomed us in and showed us to the back dining area and bar that over looks the nice pool, stunning mountain backdrop and lovely gardens. A...

Recently stayed in this fabulous hotel for 4 nights. The location was absolutely stunning with beautiful mountain vistas. The hotel was first class, with excellent facilities. The breakfast and evening meals were of a very high standard. Would definitely choose to stay here again if we revisit South Africa.

Clouds is set in a dramatic setting about 10 minutes drive from Stellenbosch (probably one of the best views I've ever had) & right beside Delaire Graf Wine Estate & Tokara, both of which are wonderful, with restaurants & wine tasting. You can also walk around Delaire Graf amongst the vines, if you fancy a bit of exercise. If not...

After a 2 nights stay, I'm sad to say goodbye to this South African oasis. The staff, property, and service was truly outstanding, and top class. Non pretentious, and constantly attentive to our needs, I highly recommend booking a stay at this luxury resort. * Affluent, 40's, well travelled, mixed race, same sex couple *

This is the second time that we have stayed at the clouds. The first time around we established that the food is very poor but given the great location/views and the availability of great restaurants in close proximity we still felt it was worth returning to. Whilst the view remains wonderful the food remains bad (which we expected but this...
