A beautiful hotel in esquisite countryside. Our room was delightful and the food and service at the hotel was truly outstanding. The very best breakfast buffet I have ever seen. Wonderful wines are available to compliment the extremely lovely food.

We spend one night at Devon Valley Hotel. The hotel is situated very nice in a quiet and romantic surrounding near Stellenbosch. We had a large room which was very clean and silent. Staff at reception, restaurant and housekeeping were very friendly. We enjoyed an excellent dinner including wine and also breakfast at the restaurant. Summing up it was an...

DVH is a smaller hotel which enjoys an air of understated elegance and quiet dignity. Rooms are generous in size, well-appointed and all open onto quiet porches and courtyards. The patio/bar areas command spectacular views of the Stellenbosch countryside. Location is fantastic for visiting the downtown area as well as the wine country. Perhaps DVH's greatest asset is the staff. They...

We stayed at Devon Valley Hotel earlier this month, what a lovely setting, the mist over the valley first thing in the morning was beautiful to see. Our room was lovely, and we were able to sit on our patio and watch the sun go down. It was warm enough to sit outside before dinner with our tour companions and...

We spent 2 nights. The room was comfortable, wonderful view of the vineyards. Request the vineyard suites. It’s in the newer part of the hotel. Good breakfasts and dinners, friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is set in beautiful, well-established gardens. Would have liked to have relaxed with a pre-dinner drink, but as the wind was blowing, the patio was...

We stayed here for two nights last month as part of a Riviera tour. Our room was quite small but it had a sumptuous bathroom complete with spacious shower and roll top bath. Unfortunately we did not have a valley view which would have been much nicer but there was a small patio with furniture had we wanted to sit...

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of a group. We had a very nice room, which had recently been refurbished. The bed was very comfortable and the best sleep I had in any of the 6 hotels we visited.
