I enjoyed staying at Devon Valley hotel. It is easy to get to, in a quiet country setting. The gardens are lovely and I liked my room. Lots of nice restaurants close by. I will definitely stay there again.

We were 2 couples in 67-73 yrs on a 2 day visit to the winelands. We could not have chosen better. Difficult to fault if you exclude a coachload of guests who tended to swamp the place until they dispersed.

I loved staying at Devon Valley Hotel. It is close enough to city conveniences but far away enough to make you feel like you're in the countryside. The gardens are lovely, rooms well appointed, and staff are helpful. Reasonably priced for what you get! Will stay there again!

Very friendly staff, beautiful location, clean rooms, excellent breakfast on the terrace. :-) Unfortunately the reception was not able to arrange another night without changing the room and checking out for 2 hours, so we moved on further.

Home away from home for the business executive complimented great staff service. Training facilities within the Hotel premises is a plus away from the hustle and bustle from the city. Nestled in the country with great views.

You have to look hard to find this nugget as its 5kms off the main road, past the (now disused) landfill and keep going until the road almost runs out. This is a small and lovely hotel, with good sized rooms, the views are super and its quiet and peaceful. It does seem to be very popular with German tour...

We came for the Sunday lunch buffet. They served us at 2 pm although lunch ends at 3 pm. You can eat in the dining room or on the large patio overlooking the valley and mountains. We chose the latter. Service was good. They checked up on us on a regular basis although we were a way from the bar...

Had dinner at Flavours Restaurant at the Devon Valley Hotel...Whilst the location and views were lovely the food was very much below par. I had the special of seafood risotto which has to be one of the worst meals I've ever eaten...The rice was dry, stodgy and lacked any seasoning or flavour whilst the seafood comprised of a few tough...

Very nice and peaceful area, the hotel was colonial style with large bedrooms and bathrooms with veranda's. The staff were very helpful and the dining room was large and spacious. The food was varied and very good.

We are from London visiting Stellenbosch for a wedding earlier this month - in Stellenbosch for the first time - our stay was a 3 night stay - a stunning hotel with friendly staff, amazing spread for breakfast, delicious dinner (we had the 7 course tasting menu) - beautiful gardens and a pool which we were not aware of until...
