This place is my idea of heaven - it's quiet and tranquil, but in close proximity to all the places you want to visit such as stellenbosch and Cape Town. The accommodation is both comfortable and spotlessly clean and the hosts (Heather and Jon) attend to everything you may need, including advice and information about what to do, where to... More

Have visited Mana a few times now over the last five years and have found it to be a dream location all times. The hostess is so attentive and genuine you really get the feel that you are almost at home while away. The grounds and the rooms show every attention to detail and the location in the mountains with... More

I've just returned from a wonderful fortnight spent at MANA. This has been my fifth stay with Heather and Jon, and once again, it did not disappoint. The majority of people you will meet at breakfast or around the pool are repeat visitors, many booking next year's trip whilst they are still there! Stellenbosch is a vibrant university town with... We discovered Mana by pure chance after visiting JC Roux for a Tasting, I liked the look of the sign believe it on not so we knocked on the door and asked to have a look around. We liked it so much we went back to our original hotel (which we have stayed in many times over the 14 yrs... More

We recently returned to mana (set amongst vineyards) after a six year absence. Then it only had two rooms and a restaurant. Now no restaurant and now six rooms. We were slightly disappointed that the restaurant was no longer there as that was the reason for staying again. Never mind, the large rooms are still excellent, comfy bed, no telly... More

I'm here with the family. The setting is unbelievable and I feel really lucky. The owners are friendly and helpful, the rooms are fantastic and the pool is great. We seem to be able to eat any thing for breakfast and they produce a black board with lots to offer. The view is fantastic. We went into Stellenbosch to day... More

In this B&B the bed part is updated and modern in cottages, while the breakfasts, served outdoors, are chef created and delicious. The setting is an Italian garden designed by architect Joseph Rubbi in the 1930s with mosaics, garden slate tiles and artisan brick work, plus swimming pool all lovingly recovered over the past 9 years from wild overgrowth. Lavender... More

If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Stellenbosch go to Mana you will not be disappointed. We have stayed several times when we have been lucky enough to visit the area, which is perfectly positioned for visiting the many vineyards and excellent restaurants. What an excellent venue. Accomadation first class beautifully designed cottage interiors. The selfcatering cottages are well equiped with everything you need for your stay. Just having breakfast with Jon & Heather is a joy. It is situated just far enough outside of Stellenbosch that it is quiet and relaxing. You feel exceptionally secure in the vinyards of the J C... Stunning rooms and the perfect location to be able to see everything Stellenbosch has to offer yet still be able to feel like you can get away from it all. Heather and John were so friendly and helpful too, which made our time there even more special. We highly recommend and will be back for sure! The Ford-Lane's
