We stayed a total of four night splits into two, at the beginning and end of the trip. We had stayed there before in 2008 and 2010 and feel that there has been an upgrade to the rooms. Most welcome. The service is very friendly and the breakfasts are petty much all you need. The location is a real winner...

We always love staying here. Beds are brilliant. Nice shower with good water pressure. Very central quiet cul-de-sac yet not noisy. Breakfast is lovely. Good spot. Same regular staffover the past years to welcome you.

Extremely pleasant guest house. The staff and management are both professional and friendly. On a number of occasions Karin was more than happy to accommodate small requests. The rooms we stayed in were all clean, well sized and to a high standard. Within walking distance of the town center, yet with a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Initially our sat nav on the hire car couldn't find the guest house so we rang for instructions. Karin could not not have been more helpful or patient talking us in. She was also very helpful booking us on a wine tour which was most enjoyable. A really nice touch was a glass of sherry and a chocolate when we...

Comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast. Close to botanical garden. If you are a light sleeper the church bells may be a problem. Only one DSTV channel showing whatever other people are watching. There is a small desk in the room and small safe but not big enough for a laptop.

The guesthouse is located in a quiet neighbourhood, but still close to the city center. Rooms are excellent with nice furniture. Welcome was warm and we received a lot of tips on what to do. The staff was very helpful in making reservations at excellent restaurants in Stellenbosch. We had a wonderful time!

After a hard working year in which my son was born and I took no breaks (not even maternity leave – as it is for single parents with their own business!), my stay at Villa Grande over the weekend of the Winelands 42km and 21km races was a tremendous, comfortable treat. Excellent breakfasts, great room – bath to die for....
