The best place you can get to relax and enjoy with wonderfully friendly people in Portugal! From the moment I arrived on A Terra until I left, it was unforgettable! A relaxing place where you are super comfortable with no worries, It looks like a campground but it is not, is much more than that and very special. With tents... More

The place is a brilliant idea, with a wonderful ethos that just occasionally misses the mark. It's a stunning location, with a brilliant freshwater lake (and all the toys to go with it) and with surprisingly great, and affordable food - at 12EUR for a home cooked 3 course meal and wine/sangria. The pizza night on Saturday is excellent quality... More

I was naive enough to beleave that the portugues west coast would be more unspoiled and less crowded than Algarve. A terrible first night in Vila Nova de Milfontes taught me a lesson. Fortunately we (3 adult and a 9 year old boy) could rent the chalet in Aterra which saved our experience of the west coast. The beaches are... More

Beautiful place, wonderful people! We felt relaxed from the moment we arrived. A good tip - make sure you rent a car to get to local supermarket and an absolutely incredible beach, odeciexe. We went as a couple but will be back with family and friends.

We had the pleasure of staying at Aterra July this year after having been gifted some canopyandstars vouchers. We decided the best bet would be to make a holiday out of it and weren't we right! First things first, the tips! 1. Bring ear plugs. Good ones. There's a farm here and the animals will remind you of this from... More

We stayed in one of the teepees for three nights. We arrived late, after 10.30 on a Friday night. The sky was full of stars and the campsite looked amazing even in the dark. Our hosts were brilliant. The other guests all very accommodating and friendly. We ate on two nights in the main communal area. Wood oven pizzas on... More

Found this after discovering our recommended campsite was deserted... and what a pleasant surprise it has proven! This tented camp, with yurts, tipis and safari tents is wonderfully tended by the landscape gardening owner and his wife, catering for our every need. This place gets an unreserved 5-star rating. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for a couple of nights and it was amazing, comfortable, and inspiring. Proved a wonderful place for my children to play with other kids and explore the beautiful surrounds. I felt safe to fall asleep in the sun and let them roam. I was also struck with the exceptional hospitality and professionalism of our hosts. The craftsmanship... More

Wow... What a beautiful part of Portugal. Not sure I want to tell others about this fab place....!! Approx 25 mins drive from Aljezur. Little tricky to find, but I think that was due to the site not being fully open. (The signs get removed at winter.) We stayed in the 2 bedroom chalet, which was warm and cosy. Great... More

Visited over Easter weekend. The facility is not fully open for the season yet (opens from April), but we stayed in the chalet up on the top of the the hill overlooking the camp. Very warm welcome from Claudia & Francisco who were happy to make sure we had all we needed. Beautiful spot (once you find the place!). Great... More
