We hired a private let on Golden Sands Away Resorts via a well known booking agent fsb23 . The only good thing was it was seconds from the beach. The first thing before entering were 3 patched holes to the side. This is where it gets worse, very tatty door blind did not work unless rolled up manually, blinds to the lounge were dirty, mismatched and gaps with missing slats. Broken side window in lounge with film covering, armchair with paint on, cracked covering with pieces missing, found piece of finger nail on carpet, thread bare carpet by front door. One casserole dish then no other utensils if you wanted to prepare a meal. If there were would have cooked a meal given state of caravan. Flooring down passageway lifting, shower not regulating either scalding or cold so not able to shower, broken toilet seat, pillows together with protectors and matress protectors very grubby snd stained. Had to buy pillows plus protectors for both.Fridge iced up and as insulin dependent had to limp through by putting in fridge door. Stain on settee so used dining chairs as they were able to be wiped. Admitted not owners fault although appears they are aware, 2 nights at midnight a man was shouting abusive language . Also never hired holiday accommodation where next door had 3 cats and a dog. In my opinion this privare let should not be let given its condition as it needs a total derp clean and refurbishment. I have tried to contact owners but as they let it through booking.com you are not aware who they are and could this be the reason for advertising it this way. Infact the photographs do not show the correct pictures of what is in the caravan, so you are mislead.

So we were slightly conned by the rep in our hotel who made it sound like we were going to go for a great day out. We had mentioned that we go to Billy's beach she insisted this was better with a better beach. How is that possible when it is right next door!!! So we had out day out on a Sunday we were pre warned that they have a dj playing on Sunday's. The beach is quite small compared to Billy's but has nice sunbeds and because we "bought" our day out from the rep this included sunbeds, umbrellas and lunch. Lunch was ok - my friend had chicken and she said it was ok but very chewy. I had a burger which again was OK. Quite expensive too - as we were limited to what we could have for our "day out". So off to sleep I go on the sunbed to be woken up by loud house music at 4pm. This in itself is ok as I love a bit of house music but then mini buses of people that had been showered and smelt nice arrived. We had been on the beach since 10.30am so we were not smelling so pleasant. If we had realised it was a full on party we wod have taken a change of bikini and had a shower there before it all started. It all looked like fun but I could sense quite a few hangovers the next day. Mind you saying that the drinks were quite expensive so maybe not. We felt a little out of place so decided to leave. Part of our day trip was the journey home. We asked what time we had to leave and were told anytime you like. When we asked at 6pm to leave you could see we had put them out as they were now very busy with their party. The guy who took us there asked 2 - 3 people to take us back, finally someone agreed, this was after being told you should have left by 5.30pm. We explained that we were told we could leave at anytime but the guy was not very happy with us. Overall a nice place but would not really visit again

Second visit of the season Staff are great. Very welcoming and chatty. Brought us bread so my husband could do some fishing Wasn't too happy that they charged for the beds which should have been free and advertised as such at our hotel Got the free shuttle there and back Food is not fantastic but is edible Drinks are not so cheap tho. Around 20lira for a small bottle of efes Pedalo hire is cheap enough for an hour. And it's a must!

Have just got back from a holiday and visited here twice while on holiday. The staff were super friendly the whole time never pushy and offered us great service. We had lunch both days and we were very happy with it. I had beef skewers which were great both days but also different. I preferred the first set more but was still happy. My daughter (8) played in the sea all day only getting out for lunch. she had an amazing time singing songs from the little mermaid and watching the fish swim around her. The water is shallow enough for her to be able to stand up all the time which means i could let her play and not have to be in the water the whole time. (although obviously watching her) I am not sure how some of the things were priced as my bill seemed to get cheaper the longer the day went on. It was good value to start with!! The driver took us into oludeniz on both days and brought us back later on. which was handy and saved the taxi fare. Obviously this was to make sure we went back but we would have anyway. The beach here is pretty small but was great for a family day.

Popped in for lunch to try something different to Billy's Beach - we shouldn't have bothered. The menu looked pretty good and I opted something a bit different in a 'Banana Chicken'. What a mistake. Diced chicken with banana in bechemal sauce, it was rubbish. The sauce and fat separated into a mess. It didn't bode well when it arrived with a long dark hair in it. As I pulled the hair out, the waiter said sorry, shrugged his shoulders and walked away. My son had fish fingers which weren't any better either. My wife had a burger which was ok at best. This was the worst meal I've eaten anywhere in Turkey. I will not be returning.

My husband and I always take advantage of the free shuttle bus from our hotel to the Blue Lagoon beach clubs during our regular visits to Turkey. In past years the hotel has worked with Paradise Beach Club which is next door, but this year (and last year) we were taken to Golden Sands. You’re dropped off around 10.30/11am and free pick up is available at around 4.30 or you can choose to leave earlier/later and take a short walk into Oludeniz to look around or get the (paid) bus back. The Golden Sands beach club is very nice. You get 2 sun loungers and an umbrella for 25TRY and can order drinks to the loungers. Being in the lagoon, the water is calm and lovely and warm, so perfect for swimming. You can also rent pedalos by the hour - but we didn’t do that this year. We enjoyed lunch at the beach club and the portions are generous. Staff are friendly. We enjoyed the beach club both this year and last year. But we both agreed that we preferred Paradise Beach Club which we had visited many times on previous visits. I think the atmosphere is better at the other club. Still, the beach is very clean, as are the toilets and restaurant areas and the food is tasty.
