This hotel was ok. I mean, it was quite central in Oludeniz and they gave us a 2nd floor room with balcony as requested. The room was ok and for the amount we paid I was happy with the room and the location.

The bed was fairly comfortable and room fairly quiet except later at night the bars around were quite noisy but I guess was to expected for the location.

The staff got friendlier as our week went on but I didn’t appreciate being confronted when we came back from the supermarket with a bag containing crisps and a couple of bottles of water. We were told that wasn’t allowed to take to our room and not to do it again. I’ll let you make your own opinions on that.

The breakfast was average and we ate their for lunch and dinner a couple of times, average too. But again for the money we paid it was acceptable.

Be aware they will charge you extra for using aircon which is essential and too much for using the in-room safe which we decided not to use.

All in all it was an ok stay and Oludeniz is incredible. Just pay for the aircon but if you want a few nibbles in your room, take your backpack and not a supermarket carrier bag!

Room Tip: Pay for the aircon, not the safe (unless you have valuables). Eat elsewhere after breakfast.

We were checked-in to the room in the basement, not bad as it still has a terrace where you can dry swimming suites and towels, BUT the wi-fi is terrible, it didn't work for both nights we were there, moreover as the room is in basement it was also impossible to use LTE. Hotel management really needs to pay attention to it, it's 21st century.

The room is ok, it is obvious that the hotel is quite old and need some renovations, but everything is clean, which is extremely important, and the bed is comfortable.

There was no duvet on the bed, just a small cover, which is barely enough to cover one person, so why not to put 2 of them for 2 guests arrival to the room? Oh and when we tried to call the reception to remind them that we asked for the second one we discovered that the phone in the room is not working, though anyway there's no information on how to call to the reception in the room, kind of a basic thing.

AC is not working from the moment you remove the guest key card from reader, though it would be nice to have a possibility to leave it on, so you can come back to a pleasantly chilly room after your beach time.

Breakfast was fine, everything we needed was there, not crowded at all, we didn't feel any lack of anything.

Definitely some trainings should be done with employees, they seem not to have basic knowledge of the area. We asked about the boat shuttle to the Butterfly valley, receptionist said that there's no shuttle like this. We found it ourselves on the beach, so.. It would be nice if they know such stuff and are helpful, after this you don't really want to ask them anything anymore.

Hotel has a pool, we didn't use it, but other guests seemed to enjoy it.

I saw also some ants in the room, but maybe it is because of the terrace.

Fantastic little hotel great for beach and all nightlife and shops. Rooms are clean and tidy and have good facilities. Bar/Restaurant is spacious and well stocked and the food is varied from snacks to full meals they are delicious and well prepared. The staff are friendly and chatty especially Ahmed. Great value for money hotel although you will hear music from the nightlife during peak season.

Lets put it this way: any hotel experience is around 70% about the quality of the staff and management. and the quality here is 0. The guy behind the reception is extremely rude and dry. most of the staff are underage boys. the breakfast is horrible. like i mean ... disgusting. a plate with like cheese, olived, a peice of cucumber, tomateo and watermelon!!!! also very stingy, and the people serving are so unprofessional. we asked for more of the "stew"and he made it so awkward and was like this is enough for two people!!!

let me put it this way: if they had a cancellation policy, and we could have paid 50$ to cancel on arrival, we would have gladly done it. mind you 50$ is worth of three nights at this craphole.

Well I booked this place without reading any reviews on the hotel or the area but safe to say we were not disappointed. Rooms aren't very big but they are adequate for what's required of them. Our room was one of the low level rooms, no balcony but a patio area with 2 chairs and a table. We had a double bed and a single bed, a fridge, a kettle, hairdryer and aircon everything we needed for a weeks stay. Maids cleaned the room every day and fresh towels when required. The staff are lovely and are very attentive, beer cheap, food cheap and tasty, can't fault it. Would come here again. Wasn't over crowded either so no dash for a sunbed as there were plenty, in fact there were never many people at the pool so it was very chilled. All in all a fab stay.

We booked a last minute stay here as our holiday to Portugal was cancelled. It was brilliant value for money. The rooms are good with a really comfy bed. There’s a nice pool with plenty of sun beds although they aren’t very comfortable as they have no cushions so we had to get cheap lilos to put on them. The breakfast isn’t great, very basic with no toast or cereal available. The location is brilliant, so close to the beach, bars and restaurants. The staff are really lovely and friendly.

Booked through this company to get to Turkey, after booking which was a simple process all seemed well.
Flew with TUI (exceptional) couldn’t fault them.
Arrived at the Magic Tulip Hotel in Olu Deniz, first impressions looked alright. On speaking to the man in reception I explained I had just arrived, he didn’t seem bothered, I will take you to your room. I couldn’t believe where I was going underground in the basement of the hotel, not well lit. On opening the door it smelt musty with stained chair covers for what I presume was for the chairs on the balcony, to open the door to a concrete wall. I wasn’t staying here I felt very unsafe.
I tried to contact the rep or even the 24/7 support but to no avail. Won’t be booking with these again!! I found a fantastic hotel around the corner The Taner Hotel friendly staff very welcoming and clean and tidy and I felt safe. I had an amazing view from my room.

This lovely hotel is very close to the beach. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to make sure your stay is the best. Rooms are basic but clean. Pool is a good size and plenty of sunbeds. Food is really good and reasonably priced. Non alcoholic drinks are a good price too. Great location, lovely staff and a really nice hotel to stay in.

Before I start, the title is a play on a phrase used by the ice cream sellers.
ROOM (4/5)
Our room (514 with pool/sea view) was quite small, with a double bed and a chair and a dresser table with mirror being just about the only furniture in it, except the small bedside tables. There was a wardrobe which contained the safe (if you wish to use it) and it was equipped with plenty of hangers.
The bathroom was small too. It had a walk in shower, sink and toilet. The shower was very good. The toilet occasionally didn’t flush, but that just added to the adventure.
All in all, the room was small but had everything needed for our stay and so was more than acceptable.
Room Cleaning was done on a daily basis. Nothing fancy, but a sweep and a mop up, fresh towels and your bed made (or sheets changed, I think once a week). We never had any issues with this and any time we left the do not disturb sign we had a fresh loo roll left on out outside door handle.
POOL AREA (5/5)
More than enough sun beds, with the majority of them getting the sun for most of the day.
Area cleaned daily.
Pool cleaned after the storms / heavy rain.
Water in the pool was mainly quite cold, but the temperature hit 85 most days so it wasn’t too bad to take a cold dip.
No music played which suits most people these days as you can always listen to an mp3 player while trying to transform into a lobster.
BAR AREA (6/5) Yes I meant that score!
This made the holiday for us!
There was a great atmosphere here during our stay (1/10/11 onwards for 2 weeks) with lots of the guests, young and old, couples and groups all mingling and chatting away well.
Special mention to two of the bar staff: Jack and Ginola. They are a credit to the place and along with the rest of the staff, work hard and they especially earn their pay. For anyone going, Jack is the guy who has a liking for hats and Ginola is the bearded one.
Around the bar, day or night there was plenty of people to talk to, or just sit back with a drink and watch TV, or have a meal / snack.
To name but a few who helped make our stay excellent, Michael and partner, Trisha and Billy, Vicky and Dom, Dennis, Mark + Susan and family and also Dave and Julie, you all, among loads more were friendly and kind enough to make our stay that small bit extra special.
FOOD (4/5)
We stayed b+b. Going by reports many seem to have booked up and thought they were going to have any food they liked. We didn’t and despite being quite fussy we always found something to have and didn’t miss out on anything. Any lunches or dinners we had were much varied so breakfast being quite similar is only an issue if you’re already looking for negatives. Breakfast was between 8am and 10am.
We had the odd bite of lunch there and the odd snacks (pint and plate of homemade chips was £2.60). We ate dinner there twice and both meals were fantastic. Upon recommendations I had peppercorn steak and it was huge and was all meat. Mmmmm
EATING OUT (5/5)
We ate out most nights and visited a few different places. The Madras across the road is excellent as is Josephs on the main street. Bella & Gusto is also worth a mention, but the top of the lot was Sultan Ahmet at the bottom of the main street near the beach front. The food, service and the fun from the waiters made it a most enjoyable evening. Most main meals in the restaurants are priced at between 22TL and 30TL.
BEACHES (4/5)
The main beach was vast. You can lie on the sand near the walkway or on the small pebbles. Both are comfortable enough for a while. Sun beds are 6TL each (£2) and a parasol is also 6TL, for those who wish any.
We also went to Sugar Beach which was lovely and peaceful. It is located at the back end of the lagoon. Take the right fork in the road near the lagoon entrance if you are walking and not making use of the free shuttle bus. The walk takes 7 minutes from the main beach. The Lagoon itself costs £1 per person entry, but that shouldn’t put anyone off. The toilets in here were spotless and it has changing areas that are handy too. You can get food and drink at the main bar and it’s a beautifully kept park. Something different to the main beach anyway and also good if you want a pedalo journey.
THINGS TO DO (4/5)
There are many things to do, both in and around OD. Things we did included a Suana, Turkish bath and massage at SANCTUARY, located right next to the Azda. Was excellent value and set us up nicely for the holiday.
Islands boat trip is only £7 pp with most street vendors and includes a snack of chicken on board. Lasted 6 hours with a few swim stops and also a stop at St Nicholas Island. Good day out to see a bit more than your immediate surroundings.
There is a barbecue night held every Wednesday, either at the MTB and or its sister hotel located 200m up the road. These nights cost £10 and you get loads of food as well as entertained with a belly dancer, a dance group (like diversity), a fire dancer and then to top off, limbo dancing for the guests. These nights were packed and were definitely the best value for £10 you can buy.
One of us went paragliding with Sky Sports. The other (the male one of us) decided he’d be forever known and the turkey chicken, but hey, I don’t mind. Cost was £93 for everything, including photos and a DVD video recording in HighDef.
Hisaronu market on every Monday was a good experience if you want to go and try to haggle yourself a bargain, be it hoodies, trainers, food, bags etc...
Talk of the town was the best of the recommended nights out at Hisaronu too. Taxi there costs £5.
IN GENERAL
Oludeniz is a great place and has become one of our will visit again soon places.
Our next visit will certainly to the MTB Hotel as we were very impressed with almost all aspects of our holiday, both in the hotel and around the resort too.
If you could tell in advance a holiday was going to be as good as ours was you’d gladly pay much more than we did.
The Turkish people we met there were all very polite and even those trying to get you in to eat or drink in their establishments were reserved when you politely declined.
Changing money is better over there than in the UK. The best rates while we were there were at Joseph’s eatery or at the Jewellers / Gift Shop on the beach front. We changed in batches of £100 to make the transactions easy for us to know exactly what we’d get back in return. Euro exchange was poor. Take English Sterling with you.
If anyone has any questions, send us a message and we will try to answer them.

Please do not stay at this hotel! Myself and my friend stayed here for one week, we had to book an early flight home out of fear after one of the bar men/receptionists decided to let himself into our room at 3am when he was "drunk" for a "chat", you are not safe in this hotel! Especially young girls or solo travellers.
