Really friendly and welcoming staff who were attentive throughout. He created a selection for a meze starter and we tried the local lahmacun dish for main, definitely recommend. Lots of choice on the menu. Easy location and authentic local food.
It´s a very good located cozy place. Only few minutes walking from Oludeniz beach. We apprecieted very helpful staff and their restaurant as well. Specially fresh drinks! We recommend to try their gozleme (traditional Turkish filled pancakes). I haven ´t been eaten better ones in my life!
Went there twice. Great service from Engin and truly authentic lamacun pide made extra spicy. The service was swift and tha ambience in this alcohol free place was lovely. A meal of two pide cost about £2.50 !
If you plan to make an acquintance with the hell it is a Best place. First of all: 1) price is the same as in 3 star hotel with far more reliable and good infrastructure, its a First disguise 2) they offer parking but asked for repark, and after dinner tried to insist on removing our car 3) ant are everywhere, rats will be your friends at night and mosquitos will top up the scene. 4) No table, no hooks, no hanger for your dress or packages, maybe one will be 5) water wont leak through the sewer vent, it'll flood all over bathroom 6) shampoo and shower gel with toilet paper only if Hunt down the receptionist 7) No soundproofing at all completely, and loud music in front of your door till 0:00, starting from 6:00 8) greatly uncomfortable bed. So if you ever even consider this place as your home on holiday, throw such thought out of your mind to the dark hole of galaxy. …
Fantastic restaurant and charming owners. So nice to see a restaurant that doesn’t serve alcohol. My wife and I loved it here and glad we came. Good food and good desserts too. Would recommend to those that want good food and a peaceful night out in comparison to other places in the area!
Do not book here, the staff are extremely unhelpful. The lock was broken on our room door on arrival, two half eaten sausage rolls were in the bedside cabinets, the bathroom tiles were broken, and was very old etc etc etc the list is endless. Very rude member of staff who would hide behind the pillars when he saw customers coming to avoid them then spy on them. Breakfast covered in wasps. Atrocious.
Very clean and comfy rooms, cool private terrace to chill, owners amazing people, tasty food in the restaurant, great location. Value for money. Recommend this place for families, older or young people. Few meters from the beach, shops, bars, restaurants, street food etc. Lively and nice street but quiet at night.
From the moment you arrive the welcome is exceptionally warm and friendly. This is a smaller hotel with simple rooms located at the rear of the restaurant. Two things are immediately clear wheb you stay here... firstly all the staff are working to ensure your stay is the best possible and secondly, the cleanliness is amazing. I've stayed in many large hotels with massive staff groups but they have not been so clean as Durak. All thanks must go to the wonderful manager Gul, who makes everyones stay a real pleasure. Breakfasts are incredible - Turkish style with cheeses, meat, marmalades, salads fruits, drinks, all served at your table, not buffet. The evening menu is not massive but the pizzas are tremendous. The bathrooms feel a little tired by today's standards, but otherwise the rooms are excellent for the money. Highly recommended if you want to be close to the beach and restaurant/bar scene, but far enough away to feel that the tourist crowds are not on top of you. …
The host is very kind and ready to solve any issues. Food is great! Of course tipical turkish breakfast and food but great 👍🏻. Rooms are right, in comparison with the price, with a little adorable patio. I strongly reccommend it for a easy, relax holiday!
This place was disgusting! There were ants all over the room on the floor and I was worried that my luggage will be full in with ants. I told the reception and they did nothing. Also, place was extremely religious that they don’t even serve alcohol in the restaurant nor allowed us to bring a beer while we ate there. I would assume these religious people were honest but when we wanted to exchange money, they tried to rip us off so we ended up walking to an exchange store and got 30 Turkish liras more for a $100. I don’t recommend this place to anyone.
