We were here for my sons wedding, we did have a fabulous family holiday BUT we paid extra for a swim up room and my son and his new wife to be paid for a deluxe jacuzzi room!!! They were both beyond pathetic 🙄 my daughter in law parents paid for a family room that wasn't big enough for sole capacity Nevermind a family of 4!!! The breakfast was awful flies all over the food not enough glasses or cup for the drinks! Our last day was the worst ever! Firstly getting a knock on on door at 9am asking how much we had paid for the safe and had we paid it and when!!! We had also paid for a late checkout and returned to our room to find we had been lockd out!! It hadn't been explained when you do a late checkout you have to go reception by 12 to get your key reprogrammed!!! Also once you use the it's on your tea tray you are charged for a refill!! Our swim up room was not as such it was a direct pool access room definitely not worth the extra money, the room, restaurant and bar staff were amazing! But the manager, reception and Jet2 staff are extremely questionable!¡

Whenever I write a review I do this on my own/our experience, not piggy backing on other reviews  We visited end July , begin Aug. Booked last April after reading 'great' reviews First impressions......I could have cried !!  We were taken to our room , on entering we realised it was a very small room , the photos online are very deceiving  -  we did get used to it after a couple of days and I know you don't spend much time in your room but for the money we paid it was like a chalet at Butlins & we paid £966pp  B & B for 11 nights , I do think this was expensive even for the time of year. There wasn't much storage for possessions and my long dresses trailed on bottom of the wardrobe & the sliding doors didn't stay closed. The safety deposit box was situated in the wardrobe & cost £30 for the 10 nights that we had it for. Our suitcases were left behind the bathroom door (dead space) which was a first for me in many years of travelling. Very small Bathroom- loose seat and vanity unit that moved so didn't use the drawer, shower was OK.  Cleaning -  ok , nothing special, towels replaced daily but a bit rough.  Curtains - no stoppers on the rail so when opening , they fell off ,had to put back on on a daily basis (yep we forgot every morning !)  Decent Air Con , kettle provided (we took own 2in1 coffee satchets) . Nice quiet room , no noise from corridor or neighbouring rooms. Mini bar with price list in room if you want to use it , we didn't bother, just kept our water in there .   Beds - although I like a firm bed the beds were very hard. Breakfast - minimal but ok - fruit, continental items/pastries, few hot bits, hard boiled eggs,  toaster , coffee & juice machine and you can order a variety of egg dishes & pancakes at the hatch in the far corner of the dining area. The dining area got really busy at the latter end of holiday.  Lunches - ok - reasonable prices and choice  Nice area , staff very polite and efficient Few bills incorrect , we asked to check and these were rectified.  Cocktails Happy Hour - strawberry cocktail....just coloured &  unflavoured ice. Turkish bath - Fab experience and very accommodating after a mix up on our booking Worth every penny !!! We all had on our first day & some of our party revisited several times for massages during our stay. Main Pool -  We only managed to get a sunbed on our first day , after that there was never any sunbeds available so we used the smaller pool. (need repairing, some very sharp edges) .  There were towels reserving sun beds from daft o'clock but then not used for hours. The Hotel needs to endorse rules , they have posters explaining about reserving beds but no one takes any notice of them. We couldn't get a parasol one day for the baby in our party, I asked for one and within a few minutes the staff brought one for us which was much appreciated. I never saw the pool get checked or cleaned , bottom of baby pool very slippery.Lots of broken grates around the pool - We did see a guest put his foot straight through one and ended up falling down so we avoided walking on them for the rest of the holiday.  We paid for entry to Sugar Beach at the hotel reception & used the shuttle bus - not what we expected, more like a lake , man made ? , very disappointed for all of our party .  Check out- reception staff said we'd used mini bar but we hadn't , tried this with all of our 4 rooms when we checked out separately . No extra charges made after we said we hadn't used it. You can pay as you go or put on room tab - we paid as we went to avoid confusion Staff are a total CREDIT to the hotel !! Courtesy room , situated in Spa - smelly , hot , minimal, again run down (Shower , sink, hair dryer - had to ask for a towel at reception)  TLC needed in every area - repairs , paint, replacements etc etc  Great location Very helpful young lads , polite & friendly staff Very accommodating if we asked them anything during our stay. Positive and Negative but my/our honest review. I think Jet2 need to have a good look & review the star rating/price of this hotel.

From other reviews and photos I was really excited to stay at this hotel, but when we arrived I was so disappointed, first we did check in, and we arrived in the middle of the night, on arrival as pre booked we checked there would be a cot for my daughter, which they seemed suprised about and said no, we can’t get one till tomorrow, I said I needed one tonight as otherwise she has nowhere to sleep as she’s 1 year old, they proceeded to say they didn’t have one, and I continued to say if I you don’t have one we can’t sleep and it’s the middle of the night ! Eventually I was found a broken one which we was told to use for the night and then would be replaced the next day. The room we were in also had no balcony and had steps leading up to It, which is really not ideal when you have a pushchair and a small child, meaning I could not let her into the balcony at all, nor was I ever able to sit on it. Breakfast we only went to once as it was really Basic. For what we paid I would of expected so much more this hotel looks nothing like the photos the room was very worn and had a broken towel rail, shower was dirty and door frame Was coming off.

We stayed in Ocean Blue High class hotel end of July/ beginning of August 2022. We had booked a Superior swim up room and were expecting, at the least, something good. I’m not sure why our review doesn’t match the other good reviews on here, but listening to others, I feel the ‘excellent’ reviews are not a true reflection. There were ALOT of unhappy people there. We arrived late to a grumpy man on reception, who said no twin rooms and proceeded to give us an inch thick mattress on wheels. Bearing in mind, our room was supposed to be superior! The room was tiny, with just a double bed and a desk. The bathroom had a marble sink, which was cracked and 2 pieces left on the side. The shower was leaking onto the floor before we had even unpacked. Spoke to said grumpy man, who told us to come back at 9am the next day. And offered another mattress to sit on top of the z-bed he clearly knew wasn’t fit for purpose. We stuck it out until the next morning, where we opened our curtains, to see not one sunbed free. Lots of towels, but no sunbeds. This was at 7.15am. Again, remember we had a swim up room, but with no sunbeds. What we actually paid the extra money for, I will never know. Anyway, we moved rooms to a twin room and all was good, apart from the fact we had paid a lot more money for a swim up room, that was not really usable. So my advise would be, SAVE YOUR MONEY. It’s a sheer drop over the edge of your balcony, into the main pool. With a metal ladder stuck to the edge. And no designated sunbeds for the premium money spent. What was superior about our room, again, I’m not sure. Maybe the utter waste of money? The breakfast option that is included, is utterly dire. Hard Boiled eggs, some red looking sausages (I think) and a slab of egg and beans are your choices. They will do an omelette or egg on toast, if asked for, but stay away from the mushrooms as they taste of curry. These are only offered in the made to order bit and not the main breakfast area. But again, you won’t be told how any of this works, as there is zero communication from staff. On a plus, and the only thing that makes this hotel worth staying at, is the fact it’s in a fantastic spot. Close to all the shops and main strip, but far enough away, that it doesn’t disturb you. So to wrap this up, my advise would be to not listen to all the fantastic reviews on here. Don’t bother with ‘swim up’ rooms, superior or not. And watch your end of stay bill. They add things on that you haven’t had. Brilliant way of making money! Oh, and you’ll feel like a complete inconvenience if you dare ask them anything. Like help with a transfer. I’ve never felt so invisible on a holiday in all my life. And talk to your fellow holidaymakers, they will tell you more about what’s going on, than the hotel ever did. You can actually go to the beach on a deal from the hotel, but wouldn’t of known this, unless our neighbours next to us had mentioned it.

The location of this hotel is brilliant to take in all that the resort has to offer is it the best 4 star hotel I have stayed No but it is spotless clean and the staff are amazing yes most of the rooms are small but do you really want to stay in your room when on holiday if you do upgrade to serval suites they are huge. We ate here every day the food and drinks was great and very reasonably priced. If you can not find a sun bed just ask and they will do there best yes if there are 12 of you then good luck.So if you are a family you will not find anywhere better for the money Big mention to the manager ALI who will bend over backwards to make sure you have a fantastic stay all the best Scot

My partner and I enjoyed our stay at The Ocean Blue Hotel in Hisaronu. It was the first time we had ever had a swim up room so it was quite a novelty to be able to go out to your balcony and get in the pool straight away but I think it makes it harder to clean as I noticed quite a lot of dirt on the bottom of the pool (our room was very clean!!). Breakfasts were good with hot food like sausages and baked beans available every morning (never any bacon)and eggs cooked to order. The location was great being close to some super bars and restaurants and everyone was very friendly!.
