It could be so much better! The hotel seems to be a bit shabby, it needs touching up. We chose a room with a private pool and our pool access was not so private - it was not separated from a neighbouring room (a privacy issue here, as the balcony door does not lock up and technically they can enter our room). So be sure not to have the two side rooms of either block with private pools - you'll be in the same situation. The food choice was rather poor at the restaurant and the whole restaurant was really small. The snack bar was almost always sold out. The animation team is a total nightmare! There were two girls, one of them always seemed to be hungover and the other one appeared really seldom. The only thing they engaged in were a mid-day pool aerobics and a late evening disco/karaoke. Their english was terrible (almost unable to understand a thing they say). They were a true disgrace to the hotel and I hope they will be replaced. No-one there to engage with your kids. The only people to speak english were at the reception. Well the guys at the bar s also were able to communicate english with a bit of effort. All other staff (room service, restaurant staff, even the lady at the souvenir shop) did not speak English (even though this hotel is advertised for English people and most of the guests were British). Do not choose a room in block1!! - it is close to an open-air gym (just a small wooden fence apart) - we were constantly waken up by the sound of all the treadmills beeping and buzzing as some guests liked to do their workout at like 7am. Also, a room service trolley with all the dirty /fresh towels and other supplies was constantly left at the corridor close to our door. Despite that: there were always plenty of sunbeads at the pool, there were also some great live music concerts. Would not go there again.

A lovely hotel, the staff are mature and experienced in their own area of expertise. They are pleasant, helpful and friendly. Clean and bright rooms and surroundings . We had a swim up pool which was an infinity pool , perhaps not the best idea for the travel agent to sell it in October… too cold. A good buffet , every day we had a favourite dish, very varied. Great snacks between lunch and dinner Good size pool and a play area pool with a slide Traditional holiday entertainment which was fun and made us laugh a lot Location is good to Hisaronu which is full of bars and shops A regular bus service to Fethiye which has a big market and boat trips which are highly recommended A great late holiday break in a good hotel for four very tired adults

I had a week away staying at Green Forest as a solo traveller and was not disappointed. The rooms and facilities were clean and kept to a good standard (air conditioners could do with being replaced in rooms as they are noisy!) but overall the rooms were clean and tidy. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, I made a life-long friend with Erol Kivrak (entertainment manager) as we have similar interests and had control of the music for a few days too! The pool area was clean and the food (snacks and evening meal) were of a good standard. The views around the hotel are second to none with mountain views to the front and back of the hotel. I will definitely be staying here again.

We book this as our first holiday in 3 years because of Covid. We booked the swim up room as it was a well priced upgrade. It was about 1.5 hours from the Dalaman airport, we were provided a sandwich on arrival as we arrived late at night. The room is reasonable and good size for 2 people, I think all the rooms were the same unless you got a family suite. So the upgraded room was just for access to the shared pool. The bathroom was small but had corner shower, sink, hair dryer, shaver plug and toilet - not much room for your things and no storage in the bathroom. The bed room was a good size; telly, mini fridge with water, wardrobe with hangers, bed side tables, desk area, seating, safe in the wardrobe. The 'double' bed was 2 mattresses pushed together and they were uncomfortable, really hard. We asked for more pillows and sheets and they were brought to the room with in a couple of hours. The room was tired and really could do with updating. The swim up room terrace was a good size for 2 sunbeds, it had shading above and you could move to the other side of the shared pool over a bridge. There are 6 rooms that share the pool. When we went first week of October the hotel was quiet and it was only our room and the room next door who had access to our shared pool. I'm sure someone during our stay said they didn't book the pool room but upgraded when they arrived. The pool was not heated during our stay and talking to some of the other guests who had been there since mid September the pool had not been heated then either. The pool was cold! Not cold because it was 32'c and you were getting in the water but so cold it took your breathe away and the only people in the pools were on floats. Its a shame that the pools did not get heated or were able to get heated by the sun through out the day as we thought it would. The hotel is spaced out well for a smaller hotel, the main pool is opposite the snack bar which has shaded seating, and above that is the main buffet restaurant inside. There is a bar with inside seating next to the pool and there is more then enough sun beds. We could have moved beds every hour if we wanted. there were also double sunbeds at the back. There was also pool tables, table tennis, spa and a mini market. There was a pool with 2 water slides but these were only turned on twice during our week stay and we think this was due to request. There was also a kids pool - maybe a foot deep and probably the warmest pool! The food at the hotel was nice, it wasn't amazing or regional cuisine, but there was a good selection and variety for the week we were there. We think most of the guests were predominantly English so they cooked food to please the English. There was hot plates where they did doner kebab - they were really good, we would have preferred to have them most nights. They had 'pasta show' where they would do what ever you want with your pasta and at breakfast they did the same with omelettes. Evening dinner stared at 7.30pm which was late for us. they did 'tea time' from 5-6pm but that was selection of biscuits and then teas and coffees. The snack bar was the best food! it was open from 11 til 4pm and honestly we could have sat there and eaten all day. They did fresh personal sized pizzas with what ever toppings your wanted, burgers, toasties, sandwiches, chips, chicken nuggets and pancakes were amazing - fresh pancake with loads of sugar which you could have chocolate sauce, fresh squeezed lemon juice or there was traditional cheese and potato. All this is included. the mini market and spa are extra and the drinks after 12pm were not included. There was an entertainer but it was not forceful, not too loud and don't last for ever so if you didn't want to take part you didn't have to. They did games mid morning, mid afternoon most days and then in the evenings starting about 9pm they would have bingo, films, games etc. The lobby was open always and they always tried to help. The staff did not speak English very well so sometimes was difficult. there was a luggage room and use of showers if you had a late flight. Check out was 12. There was a bookcase with books from the guests too. The manager was very approachable and you could see the manager all around the hotel. There was a free bus that takes you to the Blue Lagoon Beach at 11am and will bring you back at 5pm. Taxi's could be called to the hotel for you and it costs 80 turkish lira to the beach and 60 turkish lira to the Ölüdeniz Babadağ Teleferik cable car. The blue lagoon beach was good and full of people. there is the shops and restaurants before the actual beach and then walking down to the end of the spit of land there are spas, restaurants and bars along the way. There are boat rides and scuba driving. You have to rent sunbeds to use for the day which was 120 turkish lira for 2 beds and an umbrella. The food looked good and priced well - felt more local than the hotel. The Ölüdeniz Babadağ Teleferik cable car took you to the top of one of the mountains that surrounded the area of the hotel. You can see the top of this mountain from the main pool at the hotel. It was 80 turkish lira per person to take the cable car up to 1700 meters. There was a chair lift that took you to 1800m and 1900m but it was not operating when we went. So we walked up the road to the very top of the mountain - well worth the walk. Took about 45 minutes to walk up to the top, there are mini buses that take people to the top but these are mainly for the para-gliders. There is a restaurant at 1700, 18000 and 1900 but the only one open when we went was the main one at the main level 1700 meters. There was not much else to do in Oludeniz so definitely a quiet holiday. You could walk from the hotel in to the town which had shops and restaurants. It was a beautiful area surrounded by mountains, the town was pretty clean too. Overall our feel was that the hotel could have been better - the room could have been better the food could have been better at the buffet (snack bar was perfect), we were disappointed with the pool being so cold. The staff were friendly but the communication was difficult with Turkish and English being so different languages. We like that it was quiet and no kids, we would have preferred more things to do near the hotel to break it up a bit. We would not stay more than a week. The weather in October is good as it is highs of 30'c and lows of 25'c little bits of over cast and spots of rain.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! 3 adults over 2 rooms Had lovely cheese baguette when we arrived due to arriving in the early hours. Baguettes we’re fresh and filled a hole so I could sleep soundly. Maintenance staff were quick to attend to our bags and carry them up to our rooms for us. They also took the time to show us around the rooms, how to use the air con etc with plenty of banter to boot! Great bunch of lads who work really hard. Plenty of beds around the pool available due to the time of year we attended, beautiful views over the mountain, perfect temperature and lovely cocktails. The on site spa was perfect for a Turkish bath and a relaxing massage, £55 for the before sun package. My skin was perfectly prepped for tanning and felt so soft afterwards. Bloody Errol was lots of fun and his banter was great! If you’re not a snowflake and have classic humour he is a great laugh. Don’t take him too serious and you’ll have fun. Evening entertainment was great on the few evenings we attended, the live band, Karaoke and quiz night was enjoyable with cocktails flowing. Plenty of choice of food for the whole stay, homemade pancakes and omelettes in the mornings with a gozleme (Turkish pancake) lady for lunch with snack bar, who seemed to do everything around the kitchen and was always working. Such a kind lady with a lovely smile. Kebab nights, great beef goulash and a Sunday lunch on that is comparable to what you’d get in Britain. Close the the bars and restaurants in main Hisaronu and the hotel does a shuttle bus down to Olu Deniz. Which was great for a change of scenery and a day down the beach. Great deals on the fakes at this time of year due to end of season. Special shout out to Sam at reception he was very attentive and a great laugh. Carried our bags for us for our journey home. Only gripe I had was that the mattresses needed changing, very hard and springy. Would recommend it to anyone!

Recently returned 24 th October Booked a swim up room but all pools were freezing The hotel was nice and situated quite local to the Strip busses and shops The staff were lovely especially Sam and Erol and went that extra mile. The food- was edible but repetitive bland and some nights extremely basic leaving only option to eat out. 2 nights after each other ( told it was the same ) chicken wings and little beef patties Sunday was Turkey which was distributed a bit like Toby carvery ( but by hand) Just wasn’t pleasant food. Informed that next year it’s B and B only which is probably best. However my overall experience back in Turkey for the 4 th time. I won’t be going again the cost of everything was extortion A cocktail £7.50 beer £5.00 the bars and restaurants unless you willing to travel really took the p###. Average price for a meal one course and a drink £35 so same if not more than England but it is sunny. Taxi prices dear the only thing that was reasonable was the bus I am really sad tbh as I love Turkey but now going to look to other countries to visit.

Just back from a week with a family of 9 . Mixture of adults and teenagers. The place itself is stunning a little oasis in the sun .The food is ok , rooms perfect ,snack bar pizzas on tap ,plenty of cocktails all day . But a huge mention to the staff firstly Erol who does the entertainment who had us constantly laughing with his chit chat and activities He works tirelessly to give you a good holiday and he does not disappoint to from shooting , water slides , pool, play your cards right in the day to music , singers , belly dancers and more at night …. Then we have Sam on reception nothing to much trouble always going out of his way to make your trip a good one . From the cleaners to all the catering staff . If you want a good holiday look no further you have found it ….

Just returned from our holiday to which we really enjoyed. The positives were , great location just off the strip, staff were wonderful special praise for Errol on entertaining and making a real fuss of our grandaughter, Sam in reception to which nothing was a problem for him, and all staff in the bar and snack bar. Negatives were , the pool was freezing - apparently it was due to the time of year 🥶, restraunt food hall was really dingy and preprepared food not always hot, hence a que waiting on freshly made food. But selection was decent. Would i go back - yes if it was all inclusive.

Firstly I’d like to thank jet 2 we were due to stay at SUNSHITE HOTEL but they pulled out and GREEN FOREST was an option they gave us . What a result !!! We can honestly say , we couldn’t fault it at all . An absolutely fabulous hotel , well maintained and in beautiful surroundings. The rooms are immaculate and the maids come every day , plenty of sun beds , for an all inclusive hotel a good choice of food . But by far the best part is the staff , from management , bar, restaurant, down to cleaners everyone was happy and smiling and couldn’t do enough for you , nothing was too much trouble ., it’s in a brilliant location only 5 mins from the strip/shops and a free shuttle bus to the beach , We had a lovely time there , and would like to thank ALL the staff for their kindness and hard work that made our time there so enjoyable
