You’ll find this place tucked at the foot of Mount Babadag. Green hillsides provide the backdrop, so great views are in no short supply. What’s more, there’s a sand-and-shingle beach just a couple of minutes’ walk away. And the world-famous Olu Deniz Lagoon can be reached in ten minutes.Back at the hotel, the pool takes centre-stage. It’s in the shape of a figure-of-eight and is bordered by bright pink bougainvillea and cushioned loungers. There’s a poolside snack bar with an al fresco terrace, too. Elsewhere, an indoor pool and a traditional Turkish bath provide additional take-it-easy spots, while a tennis court caters for the more active crowd.

We have stayed in a family room with a king bed in the master room and 2 single beds in the main room. Both rooms had balconies. Rooms are smoke free but balconies saves the day for smokers. A fridge is provided for you to fill yourself from the supermarket. Coffee and tea and a boiler is provided. Very clean room with ceramic tiles on the floor. This Hotel offer all included stays therefore you know the total cost before checking in. All 3 meals are served in the main restaurant buffet. Meal quality is good and many choices are available. There is also a midnight soup service in the same place. If you have your own drink you can deliver to the bar and they keep and serve you exclusively. We had delivered 4 bottles of fine Scotch:-) Dont miss the show which is staged every night in the amphitheater.

The hotel is at the Hearth of Ölüdeniz. It is only 6-7 min walk to the world famous Ölüdeniz Beach. There is an area in this beach furnished with sunbeds, umbrellas, towel service reserved for Hotel guests. Where we spent only a day. Becouse next day we had discovered that Hotel also owns a beach club at the lagoon behind the Ölüdeniz beach. Then we have spend rest of the holiday 10 AM to 5:30 PM in the
beach club.

This beach club has a unique location. Swimming there was like swimming in the waters of haven. There is a free shuttle service between hotel and the beach club every 30 minutes and it is only 10 min drive. This club receives daily visitors but again for hotel guests best part of it is reserved, where towels, sunbeds, umbrellas are free of charge and there is no entrance fee. Drinks and food are not included in allinclusive programme, must be paid as extra on the spot. They are super quality and cheap for giant portions.

3rd time at sun city 20+ times to turkey so hope this is a balanced review.
Hotel location is good for main strip in Olu just far enough away to avoid noise from disco’s. Gardens are lovely well maintained and idilic. Two pools a large on with entertainment and small adult one. Rooms reasonable. Not quite 4 star quality. Food has dramatically improved over the years and is now very good. Staff are fantastic as always.Beach club located 5mins away by free shuttle bus is good and restaurant good but food drinks and the premium sun beds are not included on your all inclusive package Some things do need improvement though WiFi has always been poor In most areas and none in rooms I’m sure in 2022 they can sort this. This year the room cleaning was poor and hit and miss sometimes at 5pm sometimes not at all spoke with reception who said they were having lots of complaints about housekeeping. Restaurant was busy not enough staff and on several occasions we had to find and clear our own table. One last bugbear that could be sorted easily is the beers served in warm wet glasses that makes it completely flat by the time you get it back to your table if busy. A lot of hotels around have spent lots of money building new facilities are the area is vastly improving since 2019. Sun city is now only just scraping a 4 star by local standards but still is a good hotel with plenty of repeat guests

Dear Sayers, Thank you very much for your review, for your critics and suggestions. These will be shared with all departments and necessary surveys and work will be done to improve our facilities. One thing we would like to mention is; our house keeping department always scores very high in our guest satisfaction questionnaires. Our guests also verbally leave positive feedbacks at the reception, about the house keeping ladies. So we guess that there may be a misunderstanding with that conversation. Hoping to see you again at Suncity Hotel & Beach Club. Regards,

We arrived finally on the 26 sept for 14 nights. It was our 3rd stay in Suncity. The staff are FABULOUS. They are the loveliest group of people. We requested a pool view and were given room 425 overlooking the adult pool. Reception explained that the rooms overlooking the big pool were closed but we were more than happy with the location. Our cleaner worked so hard and we even had towel art done with flowers everyday.
The restaurant staff were serving the salads and desserts behind a glass screen. Hot food was self service but plastic gloves, sanitizer were freely available and cutlery was prepacked. The staff all wore masks and in the heat I commend them.
Bar staff great, kept my husband well topped up with wine. Rose, Barry and MJ work from morning til late entertaining the guests. Tweety lovely man and the barber gave my husband a good tidy up!
The hotel wasnt very full and they have had to make the best of the Covid rules. Yes it was a little bit different this year but we had a lovely lazy relaxing time. Hotel ideally situated with great views and beautiful gardens. 2 weeks of sunshine.Recommend the hotel and thanks to all of you lovely people that look after the guests. Next year 21 nights already booked. See you in 2022.
Highly recommend a trip on the cable car. Its amazing!

We looked at this hotel and online it looked wonderful . In reality it was underwhelming ! The location is very good as you’re only a few minutes from the beach and the strip and yet the noise levels were low . If you want a quiet stay it’s worth asking for the block near the adults quiet pool . The rooms are quite nice and have everything you need. The room cleaning wasn’t great and we didn’t get any towel art during our stay and floors weren’t mopped or cleaned well . Our main disappointment was the restaurant . We arrived at 11pm along with a few other couples and were hoping to get something to eat as the snack restaurant should have been open . The restaurant was in total darkness and staff eventually turned up 15 mins later to turn on the lights and there was only lukewarm soup and bread that had been left out from dinner . The tea and coffee machines were off . The food every day was lukewarm or cold and very bland and repetitive , fruit selection poor for a 4 star hotel . Unfortunately during our second week we had the family from hell move in below us , so our peace was shattered . Security did come and ask them to keep the noise down one night when we called them . The highlight of the hotel is it’s beach but the food and drinks were not part of the all inclusive and expensive compared to restaurants in town . If the hotel made it all inc on their beach and improved the quality of their hotel food and drinks we’d return but based on our stay we won’t be coming back . When you go all inc you expect a decent standard of food and sun city was well below expectations and we had to eat out a lot . We are not fussy eaters but this was more like 2 star than the 4 advertised . Next time we will go b&b as the restaurants in Olu and Hisaronu offer far better quality and value .

Just managed to get back out to Turkey End of Sept / Oct 2021. Due to our original hotel being closed we were offered Suncity in Oludinez as a replacement.

This is a lovely hotel with fantastic gardens and layout. The bar areas although close by do not encroach on the sunbathing / pool areas.

The staff are fantastic, Bar & Entertainment staff make everyone welcome (Rose, Barry & MJ) are a good laugh and try to get everyone involved, especially ("Dangerous Dave") which was my new name for the 2 weeks...

Food is typical of an all inclusive hotel, slightly repetitive but well cooked and hygienic, especially the salad / fruit / cake area which is behind glass screens and served by staff. Not everything was always to our tastes but we never went hungry!!

We only had one issue during our stay and this was dealt with swiftly by the reception / hotel staff (bathroom flooded due to a room above putting toilet paper down toilet blocking the system, fixed within 20 mins)

Due to travel restrictions / slow season the hotel was not up to full functionality, only one of the 3 bars was used and the snacks were supplied from the main restaurant instead of the snack bar area. But tbh this was not an issue, and did not detract from our experience / holiday.

This hotel can work for people with limited mobility but you would have to ensure a ground floor room as most of the blocks do not have lifts (only one does I think). Most lower rooms still have 4 or 5 steps.

Overall really relaxing holiday in a great area. Would recommend this hotel and would be happy to return if going to this area again.

Just returned from our week long stay. We had a great time, which was a welcome surprise as this was only our second visit to Turkey in 12 years. Due to a bad first experience at a different resort, we said we would never return to Turkey. Thank god we did!

The hotel in my view is 3 star plus, the SPA and Beach Club give it, its four star rating not the food, or the rooms. On the latter, both are perfectly acceptable. It's a great location with with great views and a perfect base location. The WiFi is pretty non existent, but you can get some signal or hire a dongle from reception.

We loved our stay here, and would like to thank the following people for making our family trip so memorable. Firstly to the poolside legend, Tweety and cheapest photographer in Olu Deniz. He spent 3 days trying to get my sons percription goggles back, from the main pool filtration system, due to my sons mishap with them. To our delight and our sons, he managed to get them for us.

We also had the best experience with him booking our first ever family Turkey Bath and Massage.
I would highly recommend this. My personal thanks to Sinbad (The Magician) from the Spa, who managed what no one in England could. To help me walk, following my servere Siactica problem, where I could not walk, sit or drive. In the UK I spent over £600 seeing an osteopath, to try and fix me for our holiday. One Massage via Sinbad and I was upright and walking straight, pain free and painkiller free for the first time in months. The days before I was taking 8 painkillers a day and nothing was working. Sinbad you gave me and my family our holiday back, thank you.

Lastly to Elvis and Barry and the animation team, who were great every day, along with the best evening entertainment I have seen in the last 22 years of travelling abroad. Thank you to all the Suncity staff from the waiters, bar staff, kitchen staff, cleaners, security, maintenance, gardeners etc for making our first visit so nice, especially in temperatures of 38 degrees plus with 90% humidity.

Excursions:

My 11 year son and I both went and done the paragliding excursion via Sky-Sports at £133 each. It was the best experience ever and was excellent and very safe and professional. If you want the optional photos and HD Go- pro footage, this is £25 and will be uploaded to your phone at the shop. I would highly recommend, and this is coming from a nervous flyer. I felt very safe, as did my son.

We also did the 6 island tour via Pioneer Travel, which was £25 each including a BBQ lunch served onboard. A great trip, and final day, before heading home.

We can't wait to return.

We stayed at the Sun city hotel & Beach club from September 26 to October 9. Thanks to this place we had great vacation with my mom:)

1/ Hotel territory
We felt in love with the beauty of it: there are a lot of trees, neatly trimmed lawns, incredible mountain views, nice koi pond. I think the gardener does a tremendous job every day.

2/ Food
Food was well cooked and hygienic, especially the salad / fruit / dessert area which is behind glass screens and served by staff.
One of the cooks made a lovely omelet every morning. In the evening you can choose pasta by another cook with different vegetables as well.
Once we were late for dinner, but thanks to hotel’s staff we got spaghetti, meat and hot delicious soup:)

3/ Our suite and cleaning
First few days everything was fine, but then we hadn’t had any cleaning for 3 days, that’s why we came to reception to complain about that.
The staff immediately reacted to this situation and the next day our room was finally cleaned. As an apology, a day later we received a bottle of wine and a plate of fruit, it was very nice of them!

4/ Entertainment
Different shows are held every evening at the hotel, for example, breakdance, acrobatics, Turkish folk dances, lottery and karaoke. Each member of the entertainment team tries to create a pleasant atmosphere, sometimes they come to chat, so you will not get bored.
Special thanks to MJ for organizing these wonderful events, helping to find the necessary tourist information, communicating with us and access to billiards :D

5/ Staff
Once again I would like to thank the hotel staff, without them this hotel would not be so wonderful! Every employee is friendly and ready to help, they all deserve a cash bonus;)

Just returned from a week here had a good time. The food is really nice even for the fussy eaters with us, there is also a snack bar on site which serves chips burgers and toastie the snack bar is also open late from 11pm to 12pm. The hotel also serves ice cream at the pool bar 3-5pm

The staff are really friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble for them. The entertainment team worked really hard throughout the day to get everyone involved in the activities.
Very helpful on reception and sorted us a late check out room which you do pay for

The rooms are basic but clean (it’s only somewhere to sleep after all and get washed /changed ) air dryer are also in the bathroom and air conditioner in the room .
Our rooms overlooked the gardens they where cleaned everyday and towels changed. The cleaners were also very friendly. .
The pool is lovely we also found sun beds each day.
Would recommend the Turkish bath at the hotel
I would say when going onto the strip to be careful as the shops/bars tend to charge you what they want and take advantage If paying in Turkish money if they know you can’t work it out
Also you tend to get stopped every shop /bar for custom (this wasn’t happening last time I came in 2014/ and 2015 I have seen a difference
Also they tend to be using their children now to get money of people selling headbands.
Would also recommend the trips you can go on arranged at the hotel
If you require any medications the chemist on the strip is good to use I got a ear infection and eye infection they sorted some medication for me also some creams for my grandsons sun burn.
I would return back to the hotel next year 100% and will be booking soon 😀

Overall my partner and I were impressed with Suncity Hotel and we would stay again.
We thought the pool area was lovely and our room was modern and spacious (although we may have just got lucky here as some of our friends had old fashioned rooms).
There was a good selection of food in the restaurant for meals and the staff were on the whole friendly and welcoming.
The acrobatic show we watched on Sunday evening was excellent and the performers are very talented.
The Beach Club at the Blue Lagoon is gorgeous and would definitely recommend anybody staying to take advantage of the free shuttle bus from the Hotel to experience the Beach Club.
Tweety is very helpful and friendly if you need anything during your stay he is always around.

Having said all this there are some things that I think it is important to give feedback on..
The pool/restaurant toilet lights are on a timer and go off every 15 seconds or so. You have to wave your arms whilst on the toilet to get the light back on. This is the case in the disabled toilet cubicle also where somebody may not be able to activate the lights so will be sat on the toilet in the dark. Yes being energy efficient is important but this is not the best place to be trying to save energy!
The steps right outside of our room and the adjacent room were cracked and are a safety issue and in desperate need of repair.
There was an incident that alot of our friends witnessed one day before we flew out which is important to mention. A boy had an accident and cut his knee. None of the staff produced a first aid kit when asked and none admitted to being trained in first aid when guests were asking for a first aider. External parties had to be called upon for assistance. For a four star hotel especially one with a kids club you would expect some staff members to be first aid trained.
One day a small child wandered over to my friend and advised she couldn't find her parents. She had come out of the kids club on her own and gotten lost. Nobody seemed to notice she was missing and my friend managed to reunite the girl herself with her parents.

Aside from these few issues as I stated at the beginning of my review we would definitely stay again :-)

We had an amazing time at Suncity for our family holiday. There was 12 of us all in 7 adults and 5 kids. Everyone loved their holiday and didn’t want to leave. The rooms are spotless and cleaned daily and the cleaners are lovely and friendly and do a fantastic job. The air con is free in the rooms as well as the Wi-Fi too. The pools are clean with plenty of sun beds around there is a very large pool and a baby pool which is a good size as well and also has a large bar beside it. There is also an adult only pool which is in a quieter part of the hotel and has a pool bar at it too. The resteraunt has a great selection of food for dinner with a salad bar, pizza and pide bar and lots of different meat and fish dishes with potatoes or chips. The cakes and selection of desserts are amazing and there is a bar for your drinks too. Breakfast has a great selection of food as well from cereals and yogurts to freashly made omelettes and boiled eggs. You can also make your own toast and toasties with greasy juice machine and tea and coffe ones too. During the day you can either eat lunch at the main resteraunt which has a vast array of food same as dinner and is opened from 12.30 till 2 or you can eat at the snack bar which has chicken nuggets, burgers, chips and a lady makes fresh gozleme too. The snack bar is next to the big pool which is handy for the kids. The entertainment at Suncity is amazing with acrobats, dancers, magicians and fire acts and also a kids disco run by the kids club which all the kids love. The kids club is run by rose who is wonderful and all the kids love her she is a lovely person and very friendly. During the day Barry, Ebo and MJ entertain everyone with darts, pool games and having fun with all the guests they are great fun. Reception is great there is a top part with couches and a bar where you can just relax at anytime and cool down. Yener and everyone else at reception are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them to help you with. Suncity is in a great location in the middle of the strip but back enough into the street that it’s quiet and peaceful but only takes 3 minutes to walk to strip and 6 minutes to walk to beach. All in all Suncity is the perfect place to have an amazing holiday and we can’t wait to return.
