Just got home from a lovely week at the small and friendly hotel Yalchin in Hisarano. The manager Robbie Simon and the team were must helpful ,made our stay hassle free. Robbie was in the middle of planning his wedding, however,he still made sure his hotel guests were very well looked after nothing was a problem. We can see why so many have been visiting for years.Would like to wish Robbie and Alex a perfect wedding day hope the sun shines on you all..... we will be thinking of you next Tuesday and thanks again for making our holiday so enjoyable. Hope to see you all again in the futue.God Bless....Ginny and Geoff Rudd

This place was absolutely incredible, we genuinely had the best time of our lives, and still can't stop thinking about it. Robbie, Simon and the rest of the crew were amazing, friendly, helpful and honestly couldn't do enough for you. Any request, if it was in their power they would do everything they could to sort it for you. Even why my wife had an accident, Robbie managed to get a Dr there within minutes, and made sure we kept him updated as to how she was. Everyone who worked always had a smile on their face and would entertain the kids, by playing silly games, if they seemed bored. The food was great, the atmosphere amazing. We can't wait to come back to this fantastic hotel and beautiful country. Thank you so much

We've been coming back here year after year, it's a great base for staying and being able to visit other places. ROBBIE, really is the best, with lots of local knowledge and contacts, the real backbone to this hotel. The staff work tirelessly and are always there if you need a ything. They put in long hours and still remain upbeat. Robbie, Simon, Yasin and the rest of the staff are always welcoming. The area around d the pool and bar is always clean, the rooms are clean but could do with a refresh. Still does not stop us coming back. Thank you Robbie for all the effort you put on to everyone's visit to make everyone happy 😊

I have deliberated long and hard about writing this review because it saddens me greatly. This is a hotel that we have visited many many times in the last 10 years, because we are regular visitors we have let a lot of things slide, while trying to advise that they are falling behind with the basics, unfortunately this has not been taken onboard by the hotel. So in a last ditch attempt to get things improved i am turning to tripadvisor before we make a decision to look elsewhere for our holidays. Although we are not expecting the ritz, dated rooms/ decor etc does not bother us We expect things to be functional and clean. Curtains, beds, bedding, towels all need replacing! Curtains are very thin and do not cover the windows, you will be awake as soon as the sun rises! Mattresses have seen better days, they are not only old but some are very uncomfortable and they do not have Mattress protectors on, same with the pillows they need replacing and they also need protectors. Towels/ bath mats are old, hard and pretty threadbare. Breakfast needs updating too, many hotels in the same price bracket offer better breakfast options, even fried eggs/ omelettes would be nice. There are 2 very strong assets this hotel has still got. 1. Staff..... Robbie runs this hotel like its his own, he has endless enthusiasm and a can do attitude, even though he has one hand tied behind his back. He tries very hard and will do anything within his power for anyone, nothing is too much trouble, Little chef, who started there as just a young lad but has progressed to head chef does an amazing job and the food from the kitchen is the best it has ever been. Simon (Robbie's brother) another huge asset that will always put a smile on your face, hard working, upbeat, engaging and down right funny. 2. A huge reason for so many repeat visitors is the other repeat visitors, us and many others have made great friends here, not just holiday friends these are people we see in hisaronu a couple of times a year but also see or speak to regularly back home. Please Eric, Robbie and the team do something before this wonderful hotel loses these people 🙏🏻

This was a nice place for the people, who came back year after year, it seems to meet up. Like home from home. They were also saying that the entertainment needed changing as it was repetitive. The BBQ night for £15 each for very nice and a Turkish folk dance and acrobats after. Good value for money. Our room was not to scratch in the bathroom. It had obviously flooded and the door was peeling back .and the wood swollen. The shower tray did not hold the water and constantly run all over the floor. The balcony and patio set was comfortable enough. The cost of the air conditioning was £50 per week and went off when the key was taken out of the slot. So we thought very expensive. Could only really use it in bed. The fridge was £15 per week in the room and that did not work a lot of the time the first week, but we were not offered any sort of refund. The pool was nice, but the steps getting in were was too steep. A major problem for older people. They need to be re done. The people and service staff were very nice and friendly and did their best to service you. The meals were not very good in the hotel, Stay well clear of the prawn cocktail!! We enjoyed the location of Hisaronu and the area and cable cars and mountains are brilliant. We went up and watched the para gliders in the restaurant at the top. Good food and reasonable too. Palm trees restaurant in town that does the chicken meals is thoroughly recommended. Big portions and a good Restaurants in town expensive now.

Visited hotel in June, nice friendly vibe about the hotel, and lots off repeat customers, Rooms nice and spacious, pool areas really nice, Sun beds always available, Robbie was excellent for the hotel real asset to the hotel, was always checking if your ok, and organising entertainment or daily cake run, Staff around bar, food areas were not as warm, Robbie needs to rub off on these guys, and make them happier, The only real thing that lets the place down was breakfast, poor selection, minimal varieties, and no hot offer eg eggs omelette unless you paid, I can accept the hot option but the cold breakfast probably worst I've seen for years in Turkey, advice from me would be, do it well or don't offer it at all, I accept it's a lower cost hotel, but there are cheaper with a much better breakfast option, Other than this a nice hotel good location ideal for hissorano

What an amazing place!! Robbie and his team made this holiday our best ever. Nothing is ever too much trouble for the team. This place is ideal to either relax or use as a base to explore. Everything is near and within walking distance or a short taxi ride. Robbie can recommend places to eat out if you want but for those who don't want to go out the food in the yalcin is fantastic! Just a shout out to Freddy behind the bar, a real asset to the team and always smiling! Will be back very soon.
