My sister and I have just returned after having spent a week on holiday at this hotel. It is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. We were there on a all inclusive rate and we were only able to eat in the hotel twice (one breakfast and one evening dinner) as the food was a mishmash of disgusting slop none of the dishes were labelled so you were in the dark as to what each dish of slop was!!! The hotel was very dirty and we had to move rooms 3 times each one being worse than the other. In sheer desperation we agreed to pay an upgrade fee of £200 to stay in one of the refurbished rooms that whilst clean was very cheaply done as part of the door frame fell off in the middle of the night scaring us to death, we did report it the next morning but nothing was done about it. The majority of bedrooms are not fit for human inhabitants, the whole complex is scruffy, dirty and badly in need of repair and maintenance. The hotel manager is arrogant, scruffy smells badly of body odour and in complete denial of how bad the hotel is. The bar is very poor and the drinks are barely cold and all that is on offer is local watered down lager Fanta, coke and sprite and a choice of local gin, vodka and whiskey a long with white and red wine (vinegar) that is the total choice :- no cocktails, no liqueurs !!! I have uploaded photos for each area I have covered in my damming review. If you have booked this hotel PLEASE DON’T GO

Arrived mid afternoon and shown to our room, bit cramped and could do with a little tlc but ample for our needs. Food ok but much the same, drinks ok but no cocktails on ai. A couple of the waiters speak English and the lady on the front desk is brilliant. We ate out alot as we used ai for the kids. Mammy on the bar was always friendly and the lads in celebrity adjoined to the hotel were very friendly.. freddy, darling always had a smile for us. Celebrity bar food so cheap and their cocktails are the cheapest around. All in all we had a blast and would return.. 2 mins from the beach and bar street.

I stayed here for a week over July/August and can honestly say it was amazing! I have stayed in many hotels in the same area and none compare to how amazing Akdenize is ! The staff are fantastic , they always make sure your having the absolute best holiday and take such good care of all their customers. The food is lovely and the rooms are absolutely gorgeous. I highly recommend this hotel as it is the best in the area.

Stayed here for 10 nights July/August. Booked it based on previous reviews and really wished we hadn't. From the start we had issues. We stayed with our baby (15 months) and we was put on the third floor (up two flights) with no lift. Apparently there was no other rooms. The reviews stated the hotel had undergone renovations however that was not the case in our room. Not to big a deal as we only sleep in there but at night time the drains in the room stunk and every time the Aircon was put on it constantly dripped water and there was mould around the Aircon machine and in the corners of the ceiling. There was one high chair (that we had to clean ourselves if we managed to get it) in the entire hotel and at the time of our stay there was about 6 babies. When mentioning it to someone it was laughed off and said we would have to take it turns to use it. Speaking of meal times if your a fussy eater all you can expect to eat is chips and salad. The food at snack time in the afternoon is mainly reheated from lunch. The food was pretty much exactly the same every single day that we was there. I also found hair in my food on more than one occasion. My husband was left waiting on a few occasions more than 15 minutes for a plate or cutlery. Drinks wise like the food is limited. Unlike many all inclusive hotels I've stayed in there was no cocktails or anything else really other than beer and vodka (with flat mixers) and that's if they had glasses when you went to the bar. Another couple we spoke to said their daughter (9) went to the bar to get a diet coke and was served a vodka and coke. We soon realised there was little point in mentioning anything as the hotel was run by kids who barely spoke a word of English. If your looking to stay here with younger kids I would avoid it as there is absolutely nothing for them to do. Saying that there is not much for the adults either. It said online and on one of their leaflets that there was live music, Turkish nights and quiz nights. The "live music" was two young girls singing very loudly and playing a guitar. Same songs both the nights they were there. The other entertainment was non existent. Although grateful for a break for the first time ever we couldn't wait to come home.

We stayed here for one week 2 adults and teenager 14,what let's this hotel down is the food as there is not much choice there was never any bacon or sausage of a morning and only ever boiled eggs there was no fish at all in fact the to only meat was some pieces of chicken in a chicken dish .it's great if your vegetarian.then there's the cleanliness of the cups and glasses they are stacked up all over the dining area where you eat and left there for long time and then washed by hand in front of you when you need a drink not good at all, didn't see one person with a spray bottle at all use to clean tables everyone using same rag to wipe down 24 seven also not good.there is no animation on here only a singer on a Monday and Thursday which to be honest wasnt that good.they don't do cocktails at all.the room is small and you cannot use the balcony it is way to small.....the location is good .we wouldn't come here again but the area and activities where good.

Just returned home from Akdeniz , and we had a great time . Hotel perfect location for everything, The Beach, the lagoon, restaurants , shops , bars , cable car station, and Hisaronu is a short taxi ride away 70tl. Reception were happy to ring for Taxis or for the beaches on the lagoon so you can be picked up by minibus. Our cases were carried to our rooms for us when we arrived . The room we had was quite small , typically turkish(which I like),we were given the option to change rooms but we decided to stay in the one we had . My daughter again was offered to change rooms , after a problem with the air con and the room she had was a new refurbished one , which she loved . The food was ok, Breakfast was pancakes and omelettes freshly made on alternate days, and then more of the usual Turkish breakfast , then there was a lunch choice , then a snack choice , and included chips everyday .Evening meals were a few Turkish dishes , chicken, moussaka, spaghetti Bolognese, chicken kebab one night. We did only eat a few times in the hotel , just down to choice and Olu Deniz and Hisaronu have so much choice restaurant wise. All inclusive drinks at the pool bar , were beer, rosè ,white wine , gin, raki (I think) , soft drinks. Not sure what else(need to throw a cocktail option in there please 😁) Just want to add at this point that Celebrity Bar part of the hotel was Great for food and drink , The cheapest meals and cocktails that we found in Olu Deniz , we had breakfast and evening meals in there ,they had screens with the footy on , and live bands and the staff in there are brilliant Freddy , Teddy , Darling boy , and a couple of others I get mixed up with the names , Freddy was always about the hotel helping people out, throughout the day aswell. Lads around the pool area especially Efe(s)and Battin (not the correct spelling ) , Billy and a few others , never stopped running around doing allsorts of jobs. All staff very friendly and helpful, I would stay at this hotel again.

I had the most amazing time with my boyfriend at this hotel for our first trip away together. The atmosphere is relaxing and the staff are extremely helpful, funny and kind. The food was amazing, and after hearing other tourists in olu Deniz complain about their hotels food being like school dinners, I certainly couldn’t relate with our hotel. There was so much to choose from and traditional Turkish food. I also had no stomach problems, and I have been to turkey twice (elsewhere) and both times had a bad reaction to the food! I honestly cannot flaw this hotel and want to send my love and huge thanks to all the staff that made our holiday so special. The particular staff members we would like to give a special thanks to are Omar, Mami and the man with tattoos who is half Russian (we’ve forgotten his name!). Additionally the cleaners did an absolutely amazing job, the best I have seen in turkey, and always said hello and were very kind. Thank you so much again for a great time and I highly highly recommend this hotel.
