Having spent two weeks here we have thoroughly enjoyed the time. The whole complex is thoroughly clean and tidy and always sun loungers available through the day. The restaraunt area is well organised and food is plentifully with omelettes, pancakes and fried eggs cooked to order at breakfast. My only comment would be on the lack of variety at supper with beef or chicken the only option each evening, although there is always plenty of salad dishes available with plenty of fresh fruit alongside. The Thursday BBQ evening with entertainment was delightful We have found all the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful especially the lovely lady who cleaned out room daily. Her artistic flair with towel sculptures will live long in the memory and made our stay special. The hotel is just a five minute stroll from the beach and main shopping area, although there is a small general store at the entrance to the hotel which caters for most things we needed. Would we come again...most certainly

Though we were not staying at this lovely Hotel this time we visited a few times. What can I say? It was excellent Courtney, Mech, Ali Tommy and all the Staff. work so hard to make everyone so Welcome. We were guests at a "Turkish night" which consisted of an First Class Barbeque, and entertainment consisting of a Salsa Dance Troop a gorgeous Belly Dancer who got many of the guests up tp experience belly dancing themselves, and a "Fire Dancer" who should not be missed. Followed by some of the best, and in my case, worst, Karaoke ever!! A night of great people, lots and lots of laughs and great food ALL FOR A TENNER. Later in the week we visited for the Ala Carte Menu which was again excellent Value with some of the best beef I have ever eaten and very reasonably priced at just over £15 per head. Later in the week we went to the Worlds most chaotic weekly Bingo night where some of the great prizes include a Weeks Holiday at the hotel. The Hotel is one of the first as you get to the bottom of the hill in to the Resort. Bar Prices are pretty good too Well worth a visit and we enjoyed it so much we have booked to stay in June 23

Just returned from a 2 week stay at the Majestic. From reading previous reviews, in all honesty we were dreading it and thinking it would be a 2 week stay at Faulty Towers. Our original booking was for 2 Superior rooms but due to a relative having mobility issues this was changed (I had emailed about 6 weeks prior but got no response). On arrival- was greeted by a lovely man who was nothing but helpful, explained the situation and I had to write a short letter explaining why we wanted to change rooms etc. My room was 415 and the new room for my parents was 606. Room 415: Personally I wouldn’t waste extra money on a superior room- you get nothing extra or special bar not having to pay for a fridge as it’s included in your price. Absolutely no storage whatsoever besides a small built-in wardrobe, a dressing table with a shallow draw and 2 bedside tables with shallow draws. Beds were comfortable, shower room an adequate size, balcony a better size than the standard rooms with 2 chairs and table. Room 606: Not kidding, it was bigger than the superior room and bathroom was a bigger size. The lovely maids were great- towels and sheets changed every other day. Hotel grounds are lovely, very well looked after by the maintenance man. Pools are an okay size but mainly a splash pool to dip in and out of. One pool was drained twice during our stay due to the mosaic tiles coming loose and it was overheard another guest cut his foot. Bar area is great- nice views for breakfast and if you choose to eat an evening meal. A massive negative for us was how you paid for your drinks etc. as it was all logged to your room and you paid it off daily. A few previous reviews stated problems with this and of course, one of our rooms had a problem with apparent drinks we hadn’t purchased. After around 4 hours it was resolved and we didn’t have to pay the extra charge. Although not related to us: Another guest was charge 1400 lira when they were out on a boat trip and we’re not even on the premises- luckily for them that was resolved but what a horrible experience to go through when you’re suppose to be having a lovely time! Now the staff- reception staff were very helpful with booking taxi’s, sorting out bills or any other queries. However, the bar staff need to learn a thing or two about customer service. Couldn’t actually tell you a name of any member of staff, they didn’t speak unless you’re up at the bar spending money and attending all the things they do at the hotel which not everyone wants to get involved with. All staff need to learn how to smile- it’s really off putting for guests to feel unwelcome. One of our party required a wheelchair to be hired for the duration of our stay, reception staff organised this for us. Each evening, the wheelchair was folded up and left under a stairwell. However, one morning the wheelchair had been used and ditched under the stairs with the foot plates having been moved. Considering £100 had been paid for this wheelchair and it was our responsibility so we could get our deposit back, I was not impressed. The wheelchair was sorted out and folded back up and put aside. 20 minutes after doing this, I went back to the wheelchair to collect it for the day to find it all unfolded and someone had been sat in it. I couldn’t say whether it was staff or another guest but from people in the area, it was leaning towards a member of staff. Overall, our party had a pleasant time and it was enjoyable besides from the miserable staff. There are few things that should be addressed by management to make this hotel a more pleasurable experience for its guests. Our party wouldn’t be returning due to personal preference. Obviously this is our opinion on our 2 week stay, it could be different for somebody else.

All in all the hotel was ok. It is very clean and set in beautiful grounds. However the rooms are in need of updating. There is not enough space to store clothes and unpack all your things. One of the beds in our room was broken. Air conditioning worked fine and was included in the hotel price- fantastic. However, the bathroom was dire. Broken shower and shower head and in need of a full revamp. Paint has obviously been applied hastily and was dropped all over the tiles. Although the bathroom was cleaned daily, the shower was not cleaned for the 2 weeks we were there. Towels were replaced daily. The dining area was very pleasant, however main complaint was the breakfast. I have stayed in several hotels in Olu Deniz and I love Turkish breakfast, however the choice here was very poor. The one saving grace was the pancakes!! We ended up eating jam and bread and pancakes each day. If the hotel addressed the breakfast and the rooms try would have a cracking hotel. The staff were very helpful and the cleaning ladies were fabulous.

The hotel was situated in lovely grounds with veiws of the mountains. There are 2 pools plus a tiny baby pool with lots of sunbeds but, Brits are up before dawn claiming most of them, many people were on the same beds all week. The hotel does advertise that if your towel is on a bed and the bed isn't used for 2hrs they will remove it. Unfortunately this never happened and towels were on unused beds for hours. The pool doesn't open in the morning until 10 am which is rather late as breakfast is at 8am and, at 7 pm on the dot they came to kick you out even though they didn't clean it till morning. Breakfast was nice, not a lot of choice sliced meat, cheeses, salad, olives, bread, fruit and cereal all very fresh. Preserves and Nutella was available and sometimes fries or wedges obviously left over from the night before. There was a selection of freshly cooked eggs and omelettes you could choose as well as pancakes. Though the hotel advertises buffet style you are served from being a counter by staff. I loved that you eat outside by the pool. Rooms are small but manageable, the balcony is so tiny two people are unable to sit out together, which was a little disappointing. The cleaning ladies were lovely and helpful and left great towel art the day before we left. Staff at reception were very helpful in ordering taxis answering queries etc. The location was great only a 2 min walk to lively bars and shops but far enough away for it to be quiet and relaxing. The beach was a 5 walk, there were lots of great bars and restaurants along the front with great atmosphere. The bus to various places stopped just outside the hotel. Fantastic holiday, Ouludeniz was amazing with lots to do.

Returned home on Monday from 2 weeks staying at The Majestic and this review is out opinion and understand that others will have had different experience. We arrived around 1.30am and was greeted by a friendly gentleman and our bags were carried to our room. First impressions of the room were disappointing, the room looked small and dingy, the first thing I did was go the balcony to see my holiday view to be greeted by a balcony to fit one chair and the staff walkway, already grumpy from the long day of travelling I did not feel overjoyed. I asked if we could have a pool view as I know I didn’t it would be on my mind ., they said that the hotel was fully booked! That’s ok at least I asked. The bed was so comfy and I woke up to see the beautiful mountains so with a bit of moving bits around in the room I grew to like it. ( I know it’s just a room but I like to be comfortable in my surroundings) The breakfast was good enough choice for most, the pre made juice was horrible so just stuck to Tea. The pools were really good and plenty of beds so no sun bed wars needed to be had. There was not a lot of atmosphere around the pools so if your looking for daytime entertainment etc this is not the place to be. I personally can not say the staff made much effort and did not once engage in conversation with us but they did with other’s especially the larger groups of guests, this was disappointing as I think that the staff compliment the experience. One guest told me that the bar staff were rating the women on a scale of one to ten which I did not find appropriate. The only staff that I feel went above and beyond were the cleaners and the maintenance guy! He did not stop from dawn till midnight. He was putting loungers out at midnight whilst other staff members sat and watched. The Turkish night was fantastic, food was great and the entertainment brilliant. It finished about 10pm everything stopped and football on!! Not great for those who do not enjoy football. Overall we had a great holiday and it was made by the people we met that were also staying in the hotel. The hotel did its job by providing a room, comfy bed and nice pool areas also close to the main strip and beach. I would not stay again but that’s preference and opinion.

Had read varying reports on this hotel but decided to give it a try and was glad I did. The hotel was very clean and well kept. Room was on the small side but it was changed and cleaned daily by a lovely lady. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone with mobility problems as our room was on 3rd floor with no lift and a spiral stairway The staff were lovely and a special mention to Dilek on the reception who changed our room straight away from twin to double with no fuss Position is excellent right by Dolmus stop and 5 or 6 mins walk down into town

Had a wonderful holiday in Olu Deniz in the Majestic Hotel - On arrival at destination had to find the transfer which was not very well signposted but other passengers were helpful as many had been before- I would advise getting a private transfer as it took 2 hours plus as we were the last ones off and it was very late. On arrival at the hotel it was 2.35am but the staff were helpful and couldn't fault their customer service it was excellent. The hotel room was very basic no fridge or kettle but you could hire which we were not made aware of but had taken own travel kettle just in case. rooms were clean and staff great. Our room 504 was on the ground floor and very noisy, the balcony if you could call it that couldn't fit 2 chairs on and was directly facing the restaurant so we had to keep the curtains closed at all times, AC was good and beds were ok the rooms do not look like the ones in the pictures although the bedroom had recently been painted the bathroom needed some TLC. We booked excursions with the locals and also got all the information from the reception on best places to go and how to get to blue lagoon, we weren't even aware of The Strip until we were told in a restaurant. However this didn't bother us and we had a great holiday - there was some entertainment in the hotel on the Thursday with a BBQ - we were half board and the food was limited but on that night tasty. Breakfast not so good so we ate out as cheap enough although we had paid for our food it wasn't much more than going Room Only elsewhere so just had 2 Breakfast in hotel and 2 evening meals as just not enough choice. We had late checkout which we paid for as very late flight cost us £25 and the room was awful that we had to move to room 510 couldn't move in the bathroom and I struggled with the shower/3rd bath as side was too high so used the communal shower room for ease. 510 was very noisy and never worth the £25 but I wanted somewhere to rest before going home although had to be out for 5pm. Olu Deniz was beautiful and we would definitely go again and had a wonderful time. The hotel was more of a 2 star than a 3 but pool was lovely and staff great (I wouldn't bother with the food and hire a fridge) Majestic is in a good location and it is clean and has been modernised in areas just basic. Drinks were quite expensive but very good quality - the staff make this hotel just don't expect great rooms - pools were very nice and shop directly outside the hotel. The holiday wasn't cheap but we only booked 2 wks before travelling so didnt have a great deal of options

Arrived early hours to the receptionist waiting, checked in and was shown to our room. Rooms Rooms cleaned every day and the towels arranged into different animals each day. Rooms have a TV, sofa and a small balcony with 2 chairs. Aircon included in the price which is a bonus. Kettle £1 a day, but you can pick one up for £2.50 in the supermarket. Fridge £4 a day, great to keep cool drinks in and has a small freezer compartment. Safe £2 a day Pool 2 main pools and a small toddler pool, plenty of loungers some people did put towels on but plenty to go around. Pool area clean and tidy. Drinks Large offering of drinks available, any ordered get put on a tab for your room, we payed every day to keep on top of the bill. Food Turkish breakfast, fruit cheese. there is a grill section where you can order fresh omelets, plain or cheese, fried eggs and pancakes. evening meal - 2 hot options (chicken casseroles, beef in gravy, fish. chips available. then salad and fruit. BBQ on a Thursday with dancers, belly dancer and fire show, included in half board. Food opinion, I wouldn't go half board again, the food was okay but with the restaurants available around I wouldn't bother Overall I would return to this hotel but not half board, good clean budget hotel.
