stayed here 30th Sept till 9th Oct 22 very basic hotel even if you travelled back 30yrs, stayed in family room no shampoos or soaps provided although a dirty soap dispenser was attached to bathroom wall (filled with some sort of foam) also fine if you preferred lukewarm showers most of the time, noise at night was very bad I think from surrounding hotels clubs on the main strip about 150 metres away usually until 3 - 4 am so tried to switch to adjoining bedroom from main the second bed provided was a tatty put me up sort of thing no good for two adults, walls of rooms had many squashed mozzis on them, Balconies are tiny only fit two small plastic chais side by side, pool area although basically clean was equipped with very dated sun beds many cracked with grubby cushions, bar/restaurant/breakfast area was very dated and populated by many cats which I suppose helps to keep the vermin problem at bay (thats another story at another restaurant) when you are quoted Turkish breakfast my word its very very basic. all in all feel pretty cheated as paid extra to stay here after our original holiday was cancelled when Corendon air pulled the plug on many UK flights (which we are still waiting to be refunded for from The Holiday Village UK). one plus the cleaners were cheerful friendly and regular fighting against a very dated building..…
Authentic, no frills, adequate well established Turkish hotel with beautiful gardens. Rooms cleaned daily, linen and towels changed regularly, cracking hairdryer, huge shower double room had everything you should expect from a traditional hotel. Mustafa and James work really hard, look after you and happy to advise on anything so you can have a lovely relaxing holiday, in fact, all the staff here do as do everyone in this little town. We were initially dubious from the mixed reviews. The hotel has many returning guests and there are no clichés, everyone is welcoming. Would be happy to return.
Saray Hotel Before arriving at the hotel I sent a couple of email queries, but no reply. That didn’t give a good first impression. On arrival at the hotel, the guy on reception couldn’t have been less welcoming. He barely looked at us and gave us minimal information about the hotel. We booked a family room. This consisted of two adjoining rooms which was what we wanted, however they had provided our 10 and 11 year old children with a tatty, old double sofa bed which we complained about. They had to sleep on that for three nights until we were given an extra single bed so at least they could sleep separately. The doorknob to our bedroom was broken and on the first night we shut the door and couldn’t get out until my husband managed to pick the lock. This distressed the children as we were temporarily trapped. I really do hope they check the rest of their doors as this would be a huge risk in the event of a fire. The rooms themselves are shabby and outdated. The floor was stained with nail varnish and had sticky marks here and there. The edging was peeling off the dressing table. Very dark and dingy rooms. There was a wardrobe in one room but not the other. Very few drawers. There were pieces of cardboard jammed in the air conditioning to keep the vents open. The hotel has Wi-Fi but it didn’t reach the rooms we were in. They don’t have any of the usual bits you would expect in a decent hotel like shampoo sachets etc. They don’t even have do not disturb signs so the maid will be banging on your door every day. The bathroom lock didn’t work. We had the breakfast on the first day which was a very basic Turkish breakfast. They serve orange squash rather than orange juice. The biggest issue we had with the breakfast was that it is served 7.30-9.30. The whole area is geared up to staying out late so you would think they would serve it until at least 10.30. We preferred to sleep a bit later so we didn’t bother with the hotel breakfast after the first day. However, it’s quite difficult to get any sleep in the morning as they have chickens wandering around the hotel grounds so it’s very noisy first thing. The area is noisy at night too. If you want to get a sun lounger you need to be quick as this hotel’s clientele like to bag their loungers by putting towels on them. The pool gets very crowded. The hotel bar women’s toilets absolutely stink and are filthy. They also look look like what I imagine prison toilets would look like. The hotel seems to have a lot of regulars who know the staff well. I would say this hotel is suitable for guests with fairly low expectations. We thought it would be fairly basic from the photos and the rating but it didn’t even live up to a three star rating. Our overall experience of this hotel was very negative. Even the children didn’t like it. We would never stay here again, a truly terrible hotel.…
Picked this hotel out from Tripadvisor reports of hotels in Hisaronu. Not cheap but not too expensive either. We went through Jet2 and when we arrived at the hotel check in was quick and efficient. We were given a key card which could be loaded with cash to spend on drinks and food in the hotel. Our room was clean and big enough for the two of us with a small balcony and 2 chairs. There was a small bathroom with a walk in shower and a hairdryer on the wall. A lovely comfortable double bed, a sofa and a TV that didn't work, but we weren't bothered about it anyway. No kettle but there is a mini fridge stocked with drinks which you pay for if used. There was a small wardrobe with a few hangers, the only drawback we found was the lack of cupboard and drawer space for clothing, so we both lived out of our suitcases. We stayed bed and breakfast, which consisted of continental food. There is coffee, tea or orange juice and if you pay extra you can get a cooked breakfast. James runs the place and is always about somewhere, and willing to give information if asked, he also changes your Pounds to Lira at a good rate. We used the bar for drinks in the early evening most nights before going out to eat. Some reports have said that bags are searched to see if you are bringing drinks or food into the hotel, we wasn't and we didn't see anyone else either. The prices for drinks compare favourably with other places so there is no point bringing it in.…
Just back from a week's stay here at the Saray and we thought it was a canny hotel and the staff do a great job, especially James who seems to work every hour of the day. A previous review mentioned that James basically ignored you if you never spent in the hotel all day every day, well I disagree because we only stayed in the Hotel twice for lunch and he always made an effort with us. There is NO jobsworth checking your bags for food & drink as mentioned, yes there is signage asking not to but if your not taking the piss you'll be ok. Pool area was nice and never had a problem getting a lounger, the rooms although very dated are more than adequate and clean enough. Overall I'd recommend this Hotel to anyone. " James ! Such a lovely hotel to stay in! Staff are brilliant and could not do enough for you. Maids are in every day and as two young girls staying here - they did there best to tidy round all our stuff. Location is 5 mins away from strip and staff are always making sure you can get there and back safely. Pool area is great and lots of sunbeds available.
Stayed here for 10 nights. Got a ridiculous price with EasyJet for a package holiday. This is a great hotel, we had a family room which was actually two massive rooms and I mean massive, one with kitchen facilities (fridge and cupboards and somewhere to wash bottles etc..). We also had a fantastic big balcony but our family on the flood above didn’t. The hotel has a great pool, no sunbed wars at all, a well stocked bar and does nice food. Breakfast is Turkish and very average. Cheers across the road does a full English for a few quid and is great. The staff at Saray are superb, James works all hours and is always helpful. I would 100% come back, location is so central. Cleaning staff are also superb.

Stayed there over a dozen times. Try to get back twice a year. Always clean and tidy (could do with new Pool Side Furnature) Great location for Hisaronu Town, and by Dolmus bus to Fethiye Harbour Town and Olu Deniz Beach. Breakfast is basic but plenty avaialble if you pay in the hotel or walk to a near by bar/cafes. Would recomend using Jet2.
Lovely stay at the Saray Hotel Stayed for 1 week bed and breakfast it really wasn't long enough. Great little hotel, spotlessly clean, excellent location. We had a few really nice meals and great cocktails. All the staff are great, will definitely return.
