Thank you to Ahmut and Collette for a lovely relaxing holiday stayed 5.9.2019 to the 12.9.2019. Stayed 1 week felt like 2 weeks. Our third visit to this hotel Totally relaxing in a beautiful location surrounded by Baghdad mountains. Hotel rustic looking but that's its charm, Rooms are clean, friendly staff who are helpful. Turkish Breakfast nice by the pool stay reasonably priced. Loads of bars restaurants nearby. Will definitely be returning 💖 🇹🇷👍 Kim and Tony keen

We have had a great holiday! Ahmet and Collette are amazing hosts made us feel right at home! Their staff are also wonderful. Our family room was clean and tidy with enough room for us all. The beds and pillows are comfortable! Our boys love the pool area and the staff they could approach them if they needed them. We will be booking again!

Stayed at this hotel during the Easter break for a week and so glad that I picked this hotel to stay at. It was such a relaxing time. The new management, Ahmet and Collette were very hospitable and went out of their way to ensure my stay was a great one. The staff were very friendly, special thanks to Uruc (barman) as well who would also help out at breakfast. The food was amazing! The rooms have a tv and are cleaned every day with fresh towels left every day. You can also request a safety deposit box if need be. All in all a great place and I’ll definitely recommend this place to friends and family as well as returning in the Summer.

Just back from 10 day last min holiday. This was a lovely hotel. There was very few of us there & some days had the pool to ourselves. Lovely friendly staff Erkan & Ahmet could not do enough for us & food was great. Rooms basic but all you need & cleaned everyday. Although the hotel is near main road we never heard traffic at all. We will definatly go back & recommend to anyone who is looking for a lovely small family run hotel.

Very basic hotel, but Ahmet the guy that works there made up for it with his care and attention. He really looks after you. No TV, rooms could do with updating but it was clean and very quiet. We had the pool to ourselves. We arrived at 4 am hungry and in need of drink Ahmet opened the bar and ordered us food in. Ahmet has worked there for 12 years so if you fancy a cheap holiday I would recommend.

My husband and I read the comments here on Trip Advisor and booked what we thought a comfortable stay in Ovacik, Mugla Region, Turkey....how wrong we were! When we arrived, we couldn't hide the disappointment on our faces. The outlook of the hotel from the picture is not the same, the room that we booked - we didn't get. The double bed - we didn't get. We have stayed in Ovacik/Hisaronu/Olu Deniz many times before, but this is the worst of them all, and I would not recommend anyone to stay here, unless you are on a very strict budget. It was lucky for us, our friends helped us out. They themselves being Turkish, was not impressed with the hotel either. Out of 5, I would probably give it a 1.

Difficult to do an accurate review as this was the last week of the season; only us and two other families in the hotel. We stayed for seven nights on a bed and breakfast basis. The rooms are extremely basic – there is no fridge, kettle, cutlery nor crockery. Bathroom was a fairly tight affair, with door opening directly onto the wash basin, although the shower was a decent size, with a shower curtain that worked and wall mounted shower-head. The shower was hot and powerful, although we did have a couple of occasions when there was no hot water in the morning, this was rectified when reported. The shower would benefit from re-grouting, as the existing grout had turned black. Room was clean, sufficient storage and comfortable twin beds. Sheets and towels were changed once during the week. The Turkish breakfast served by the fantastic Ahmed was a real delight – egg, tomato, cucumber, cheese, olives, fruit and jam, served with plenty of fresh-baked bread from the local bakery. Pool-bar food and drink very good and reasonably priced. The hotel is situated in a semi-rural location, cockerels serenade the call to prayer in the early hours of the morning, but otherwise peaceful. Hisoranu is a short walk away, where there are numerous bars, restaurants and tourist shops to hand. Personally I found the place very touristy, but there are some nice Turkish restaurants to be found, even though this was the last week of the season. Our favourites were; the Bee's Knees, Lemon Tree, Festival, and Sun-Trap. Another worth a go is the Chinese Rose – they serve both Chinese and Indian food.

In response to julieh's psychic review of her family's stay at the hotel cypriot, hisaronu in september 2014.. it is very clear that your paranormal skills need a little work as the messages you have been receiving lately are far from accurate. I am the other half of the couple who apparently tried to " embarrass your husband in front of everyone for swearing ". Firstly and fundamentally important, I was actually on this holiday, you were not! So how you consider yourself qualified to comment on anything that took place is beyond me. People should never comment on things they havent actually experienced or been present at, all that does is highlight their ignorance! Aplogies from the outset for the length of this response but foe reasons of clarity, particularly on the potrayal of the hotel, the issues raised by julieh need to be put into perspective. The cypriot is a: small, clean, extremely friendly, family orientated hotel and that is the reason so many people go back time an again. It may not be everyones cup of tea but what is? To see the hotel, its staff and guests critisized in this way, especially by someone who has never even set foot in the place is quite simply.....wrong! It is more than obvious that you have had the rear end contents of perhaps the biggest bull known to man emptied all over you and accepted iit without question. Please, read on for a true account of what actually happened on your family's holiday The swearing incident. All three members of your family's party , along with two other people were swearing, both loudly aand excessively. Following my initial comments about the language, your husband and your sons friend came back down to the bar. A discussion then took place between the twoo of them, my wife and myself. This culminated in them both agreeing that there was a time and a place for suuch language and that the hotel was not that place. At one point your husband was asjed if he would speak that way in front of his wife. His exact response was " no, sged kill me ". A strange answer from someone who wasnt swearing. The situation was resoved amicably with handshakes etc. The atmosphere following this was cordial and we played table tennis with your sons frienf on a number of occasions. Remember, you were not there! Your husband was definately attacked, of that thete is no question. Why an what with is a different matter. The weapon (s) used seem to vary everytime the story was told. It was either a machete, baseball bat, advertising board or sometimes all three. We spent the rest of the week wondering whether a scud missile was going to be thrown in there Your husband knrw exactly who had helped him after he was attacked because your sons friend thanked that person the following day. U cant comment on the exact details of what happened that night because I wasnt there. Neither were you! Incidently, the wife of the man who helped your husband works for the same company, in the same building as you do. I'm sure she could enlighten you some. Your comments about the breakfast are ludicrous and nt worthy of a serious response. What I will say is that erkan and his staff are incredibly nice people, who, if at all possible will go out of their way to do anything for anyone but I think even they would struggle splitting four boiled eggs between forty guests. Distant deja vu maybe with jesus and the 5000. Incredible. Again, had you been there......! No one was picked on at any time. On more than one occaision everyone ar the bar was asked to quieten down a little. Simply because the rooms are so close to the bar and not everyone stays up late. . No one Iin particular was singled out for this and it was never solely directed at your family. Had you been there you would have seen that. In the eight years we have been going to this hotel I have never seen a member of staff, past or present, be disrespectful to or pick on anyone. Do you really think people would keep going back if that was the case? All the rooms at the hotel are cleaned regularlly. A couple of days into his holiday your husband asked me where to leave his key for the cleaner. I told him and heard nothing more. So presumably, there were no problems. Again, had you been there...... You critisize people and staff you have never met and slate a horel you have never visited without, in my view any qualification. I have met your family but I'm not going to slate them. They weren't bad lads. Maybe they just chose the wrong hotel and possibly even resort for the type of holiday they were looking for. Then again, they didnt choose it did they, you did! It may be an idea if you decide to book a holiday for anyone else in the future, to do a little mre research or evev attend yourself. That way you will be able to offer informed and credible comments. If not, maybe you should take heed of an old and very apt saying. " if you cant improve the silence....dont speak ! " Shaun gould preston lancs
