We went to the Liberty Lykia Adults only hotel at the end of October. The weather was amazing and the hotel was lovely, but a little tired and in need of renovation but overall the room was comfortable and had a lovely view of the sea and beautiful sunsets. The main restaurant had plenty of choice to choose from at breakfast, lunch and dinner. As mentioned in previous reviews I agree that the food could have done with being warmer as was mostly lukewarm. But all the same the food was very tasty and we loved the pizza, pasta and Chinese food. The wine was very nice too. I loved the Rose. We did try the Italian Restaurant at an extra cost but was sorely disappointed as the food was quite bland and we felt rushed. Was only given one menu between us and asked what we wanted after only five minutes. My husband had the seafood spaghetti for main and unfortunately bitten into a mussel shell and nearly broke his tooth. He did enjoy the Taramisu dessert. The staff were very friendly and attentive from the waiters and waitresses to the chefs and bar staff. Especially Elvis that made me a special cocktail which was amazing. There were plenty of sunbeds by the pools and beach and lots of places to sit while enjoying a relaxing drink. We loved the wooden furniture down by the beach bar. The views of the beach and sea were fantastic. We also went into town twice and used the taxi service which the customer service lady called for us and they were there in minutes. Great to see all of the paragliders and there were so many of them, also coming down and landing on the beach at the hotel. We did pop into the family side of the hotel a few times but couldn't wait to get back to the Adults only side. It certainly wasn't for us. So overall we had an amazing and relaxing holiday and our thanks to the lovely friendly staff. We agree we would come back again.…
Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. The food was good in the buffet restaurants on both sides of the hotel although busy on the family side. The late lunch snack bar served lovely food. The beach & pool bars were great with lots of cocktails and drinks to choose from and there are plenty of pools to choose from too. The staff were very friendly and kept the hotel very clean. This hotel is in a beautiful setting by the sea and surrounded by mountains and forest it is definitely a hotel we will consider visiting in the future and would recommend it as a place to stay.
Our second visit to Liberty Lykia 16+ Hotel in 2022 and we have already booked for 2023... This is an outstanding hotel the jewel in the crown, ideally situated, well run fabulous hotel on the beautiful Olu Deniz coast. Welcoming, helpful happy staff, prepared to go to any lengths to make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your stay. Spacious spotless rooms, delicious food with an extensive selection of tasty dishes in the main restaurant every mealtime, (the chefs here are outstanding and work tirelessly) we were well looked after by the warm and friendly waiter Erkan, mornings and lunch and Abdullah in the evenings. Superb snack bar great service and tasty menu with the efficient and lovely Ulas and Mehmet and the beautiful friendly Natalia. Swimming Pools/areas are spotless as are the grounds fresh towels always available, wi-fi the best I’ve experienced in Turkish hotels. Night Entertainment is varied and great, drinks plentiful and bar service great although we only have soft drink, the cocktails looked amazing ! Lawson and Vega are a great wee animation team and managed to cause mayhem when around so many laughs and great fun had by all... I would struggle to find any negatives about this hotel it’s staff or it’s management. It’s a well oiled machine and runs smoothly ....just two wee tiny suggestions, 1. Maybe play some light traditional Turkish background music in eating places( background music at minute is a bit drab). 2. Heat the indoor pool a little more at beginning and end of season. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking a terrific money well spent holiday.…
Just got home from a very nice time in the adults side of the hotel and wow it was very good the bar and restaurant staff are amazing and very happy to help you out.the adults side of things are very chilled out loads of swimming pool and the sunloungers are very nice metal and wood new the cheap plastic type. The food is really good and lot's of choice I didn't bother with the al cart as the food was delicious the hotel is set into a hill and some steep ramps and steps but there is a little shuttle bus service that will take you around the hotel and the a golf cart if you want to use them . Adults side can access the family side and use all the facilities but we found it a bit loud the drinks are amazing.all in all a very nice holiday and hotel
The resort is just gorgeous, huge, stunning, loads to do, great entertainment and the outside has the real WOW factor, so many pretty and quirky areas. The food was fabulous in buffet and also in the all the a la cartes, our favourite was Arna which is just such a gorgeous setting and the Italian was really nice food too. Sarpendon Fish restaurant was stand out food, so good and lovely charming service too. Entertainment very good, you can tell they are high quality acts, we saw amazing Mongolian acrobats, Columbian and Turkish dance groups and sensational African Acrobats. all pool areas and beach have comfy padded sunbeds and lovely and clean everywhere. As others have said the staff here are truly amazing..all of them especially, Elif in Guest services, Ulas one of the managers and the kindest person you will ever meet, Otan in the Arna restaurant made us laugh and was such fun and Mahmut was so lovely in the buffet at breakfast and lunch. We can't remember the name of the very kind man who drove the bus for the a a la cartes in the evening but he was so helpful and nice. The rooms were not the most swish we have ever stayed in but they are clean, spacious and have super comfy beds, our lovely lady ( I think Fatima ) kept everything sparkling and our fridge was always stocked everyday. We had room 897 which was very far from the lift so not the best for people with mobility issues. So, the place is lovely for sure and we had a marvellous time but there are just a couple of tweaks that could make it even better. If the adult only pool had self service ice creams that would be super ( trekking to the beach to get a cornetto is a bit too far for people like us who can't walk far ) and also a place to get a snacky lunch without having to go to the buffet or wait until the snack place opens at 3pm ( too late for lunch imo ) it would be perfect. We would not return as we had too many mobility issues but that in no way is the fault of the hotel ( they helped us constantly with buggy rides and pushing the wheelchair up ramps when I could not ) we just did not research well enough. Other good factors are that Olu Deniz is a pretty town very close and is great to watch the paragliders landing while having a coffee or a cocktail. Shopping in Olu is also nice and no one hassles you there. We really enjoyed our holiday and the area is just beautiful scenery everywhere.…
Where do I start….we have been coming to Lykia for many years we have lost count but this was our first stay at the Adult Hotel. Entertainment is just fantastic, huge variety to suit all ages: live bands, dance shows, theatre shows, games, foam party, dance parties. Never been to a hotel with such a huge program with some shows almost at west end quality. Food is incredible. Adult restaurants are much nicer ambience and food is of high quality with great meat and veg selection. Drinks selection is great with imported brands such as Jack Daniels, Johnny Walker, Malibu, Absolut etc. Cocktails are fantastic as u would expect from a high end cocktail bar, no plastic cups here. Pools are clean and maintained, beach area is beautiful. Views are second to none. I can never be bored of the sunset…most beautiful I have ever seen. Cleanliness is 10 out of 10. Rooms cleaned daily. All staff work really hard whilst remaining friendly and polite to guests. We have made some friends here over the years and is lovely to see familiar faces each year when we come back. Staff are huge part of the experience here, they cannot do enough for you, from entertainment to bar staff to housekeepers. We are addicted for sure and cannot get enough of this little piece of heaven, we have tried holidays elsewhere but always compare to Lykia and none have been good enough to beat this experience. We end up coming back here year after year. Book it, try it, you will not be disappointed!…
This was our first visit to the hotel and it won't be our last. I can now see why people visit year after year. From the first moment we got there I could see it was a very special place. We booked the Adult section which for us, with no family was perfect. We could use the Family section whenever we wished but it was much quieter where we were. The food was fantastic, something for everyone in the buffet and also the A La Carte. Staff fantastic and could not do enough for us, it was our wedding anniversary and we were treated as very special people. We have travelled the world and normally don't usually return to the same place but within two days of returning have already booked again for next year. I give it 10 out of 10 for service, fantastic scenery, wonderful food and drink, a perfect place to stay in every way.…
It was amazing! The food, rooms, people who work there ! We always though there will be a problem as it was so good to be true but it was a dream vacation. For sports as well we had an amazing time. Thank you for having such a great happy people working there! We will be back soon
Travelled there with my partner at end of September 2022 for 11 nights, have to say a lovely resort during the day so much to do and see, we stayed in the adults side in which I am so pleased we did, the room was nice and a very good size, the maids cleaned and changed the towels everyday.Around the pool bar the bar staff are so friendly in fact every staff member in the restaurants to reception and all the bars couldn’t do enough for you, ADULT SIDE…..they were all wonderful. There is a free À la cart restaurant which serves six course and a lovely cocktail bar attached to it, we booked this most nights, the only problem was they served you very quick in fact one night we had 2 courses on the table before we finished the first, it was very rushed but we got use to it as didn’t mind in the end as very nice. Many people have said the buffet is wonderful however we didn’t think the same and would say very acceptable maybe better than some other all inclusive’s but still in the class of buffet food, meats seemed a bit fatty not much taste, I was expecting a bit better but haven’t experienced many all inclusive hotels so to others it may seem very nice. The drinks are indeed all inclusive which is so good knowing you don’t have to wonder if it’s included and they have self service bars all around in which you grab a drink walking around the resort. There are other restaurants in which you have to pay a charge for from 10-30 euros we didn’t use these but wish we had tried the Turkish restaurant as they have entertainment as well, in which brings me on to entertainment, I always wonder on what any hotel has in the evening especially when you’re a distance from anything outside the hotel, now every night they had a band playing starting at 9pm some good others ok and a DJ once a week just as everyone is getting into it they finish 22.30, this was the only criticism I have as the bar stays open till midnight but all the entertainment stops at 22.30,this is the adults side not the family side in which they do have music playing till midnight which is fine if you like rap techno etc……we didn’t feel comfortable in the family side thought it didn’t have the atmosphere we liked, the bar staff seemed under more pressure and weren’t as friendly as the the adults side the drinks were rushed and not as nice. Getting out of resort for the day or night you have to get a taxi from reception in which they charge over double 10 euros 200 lira to the closest town Oludeniz and then they charge only 5 euros 100 lira if you book the return with them,if you get a cab from the town they charge 90 lira 4.5 euros, didn’t like this as your committed to use their cabs. There’s a bus stop outside but when they turn up is a waiting game as didn’t run to their time table but very cheap. Overall loved the resort the staff are amazing there is lots to do in day adults and family side, brilliant for kids the only things I would could criticise is night time entertainment finishing at 10:30 just as everybody is edging to have a dance, you can’t get any food in day only if you venture into the restaurants, believe it would be good to get snacks from the pool bars. …
Wow, where to start?!…. This was our first time tontirkey and this place was recommended to us by friends and it certainly lived up to its expectations! This place is amazing, beautiful location, surroundings, staff so friendly (especially elvis at the pool bar! 😉) facilities, and the food!!!! Wow! breakfast lunch and dinner you couldn’t fault it! The biggest selection you will ever see and all delicious! This place is a gem! There’s so much to see and do to suit everyone’s needs! We will be returning next year for sure, our new favourite place! Thank you all at Liberty Lykia!
