This was our 3rd stay at the Red. It is a clean, cheap and safe place to stay. We book direct through Erdal (the owner/ manager) and he sorts out our transfers. The first year we stayed we were given room 228 which was brill and have requested and received that room on both of our subsequent visits. The room overlooks the pool (which is great) and you have a view of the babadag mountain.
There is no TV and the wifi is hit and miss, pretty much non existent in 228 but we did have a fridge and air con was free. Maid service was every day and we often came back to towel arrangements on the bed.
Breakfast is now a plate already made up of cucumber, tomatoes, olives, cheese and some meat stuff. You also get butter, jam, honey, chocolate spread and bread.
If you want a five star experience please don't stay here as you will be disappointed. However, if you want a clean, safe, cheap base which is central then I can totally recommend the Red hotel.
We ate many meals this year in the Red restaurants and they were reasonably priced and very good value for money.

We didn’t actually stay in this hotel but we spent a lot of time in the bar and also did last year the staff are amazing with my young grandchildren!!! Making them feel welcome and they also asked us if we wanted to use the pool at the hotel ! The other night there was a very bad thunderstorm in which all the electrics went off we was so cold and the staff came with blankets for us too keep warm! We have eaten there a few times and food is fresh tasty and plentiful! Thankyou to a lovely team who always made us feel welcome

As a regular visitor to Hisaronu in knew exactly where Red Hotel was situated before my visit . I facebooked the owner Sarah on the Thursday night for availability and flew out the following day .Sarah arranged a transfer for my son and i .
The hotel is situated at the top of the resort where the road closes at night .
We had a twin room which over looked the pool area and Shine Restaurant . The room had everything we could of asked for ,the cleaners came in everyday to keep the rooms spotless .
The pool area is great ,a large pool with plenty of sun beds .The bar staff and waiters couldn't do enough for you and the food is excellent and very cheap . I had egg and chips a couple of times £2.00 ,bargain. The restaurant overlooks the busy main street ,so the perfect chance in the evening to grab a snack ,main meal or just a drink and watch the world go by . Every meal we had in the hotel was great value for money .
Sarah and Erdal are fantastic hosts and i wouldn't hesitate to return.

We had an incredibly disappointing experience at RED Hotel. From the moment we walked into the room after dinner, we were hit with a strong, unpleasant odor that made our stay almost unbearable. The equipment in the room was ancient and clearly in desperate need of an upgrade. To make matters worse, the shower amenities provided were of shockingly low quality, leaving me feeling unclean and unsatisfied after each use. Despite the competitive price, the dirty state of the family room was simply unacceptable. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay. The stench, outdated facilities, and subpar shower products made my trip a regrettable choice.

I recently had a terrible experience staying at this hotel and want to warn others about the conditions.
The rooms are extremely dirty and poorly maintained. The showers are disgusting, and the office is often unattended, causing long wait times for check-in. The rooms lack basic amenities like chairs, tables, and a TV. The internet is unreliable, and the air conditioning frequently stops working.
To make matters worse, the mattresses have visible mold, the fridge is filthy, and the bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly. I even witnessed another guest being told to leave because they complained about the poor service.
The so-called "breakfast" is a joke, with minimal options and poor quality. Additionally, I experienced frequent power outages, malfunctioning outlets, and dead lights. The hotel even charges for water, despite offering a "free" breakfast. When the internet stopped working, I discovered the staff had unplugged it.
The pool area offers no shade, making it unbearable to sit outside.
To top it off, there's a trash point for old furniture in the back of the hotel, providing a constant unpleasant odor.
Please save yourself the trouble and choose a different hotel.

Think twice before you check in to this hotel. We faced several toilet problems in here. The flush was not working and when we said to the representative, she said maybe the problem is you.. So the hotel is very old, not well maintained. And also, the breakfast is very bad, I suggest not to eat that, all breakfast consists of fake things. Fake cheese, fake butter, fake nutella and so on.

Just spent a week here, and it was so nice. My husband, myself and our daughter have stayed in a more expensive hotel in Hisaronu for the past 2 years, but as this was a last minute break, we were limited to where we could get. We weren't sure what to expect, despite good reviews, but were pleasantly surprised (given the price difference from where we usually stay).
Perfectly situated on the main strip, and surprisingly quiet at night despite the location. Handy for dolmus to Oludeniz, Ovacik, Fethiye, Kaya Koy etc.,
The room we had was very basic, but very clean with comfortable beds, crisp white sheets (changed every 2nd day) and towels.
The pool is beautiful, and there are plenty of sunbeds, no getting up in the morning to see them all 'reserved' with towels! The pool area is really peaceful and a great wee suntrap.
Right from the beginning, it felt very welcoming, we were assured that anything we needed we were only to ask. The staff were all really nice and helpful...thank you Sarah for getting me the yogurt for my sunburn and to Eyup (apologies if misspelt) for chasing up our transfer arrangements. All the staff we met were all very courteous and professional.
Breakfast was a choice of Turkish or English (cereal, omelette, toast) tea/coffee, cooked breakfast extra. We had a selection, and all were lovely. We had lunch and evening meals a few times, and the food was delicious, also we received a 15% discount due to being guests in the hotel. The apple pie with ice cream was to die for ;)
We felt really comfortable and relaxed here, and would love to come back again, if not this year, hopefully next.
The only thing I would comment on and like to see improved, was the shower in our room, only for the fact that when we used the shower, the shower curtain didn't stop the bathroom from getting drenched in water, so we had to be careful when coming out of the shower that we didn't slip, but we managed nevertheless. Shower curtains just a bit longer would help this.
All in all, we had a really lovely time, thanks to all the staff, including bar and restaurant for making us feel so welcome.
Hope to see you all again sometime soon.

Like I have mentioned before, we never aim to be a 5 star hotel, it's just not in our plans. We do however want our room price to reflect the basic standard they are. Last year we replaced the windows and door to double glazed units. We also replaced the beds and bedding. Our plans for this winter are to replace the electric and to upgrade the showers. We all just try to be as helpful as we can be do everyone can enjoy there holiday.

Just returned from spending 11 nights at the RED hotel. We had a fab time. Room is more than basic with lovely new comfy beds with great linen. Rooms cleaned everyday and towels and bedding changed every other day.
The showers are ok but adequate and as Sarah says in time will be updated. All the staff are very helpful and friendly especially Ayup on reception.
We ate lunch many times in the restaurant and once for dinner and the food was excellent. Breakfast is Turkish, a piece of fruit would be nice but many other options at a small cost.
The pool is huge and very clean, plenty of new sunbeds for everyone and very quiet around the pool.
The bar is noisy at night but the noise cannot be heard in the rooms as the windows and doors are double glazed. If you don't like to use the aircon at night and prefer to leave your window open ask for a room further away from the bar and not facing the road.
We highly recommend this hotel and is very reasonably priced

It's good to hear you had a nice time at our hotel. Upgrading the showers is on our "to do list" for this winter. Thank you for the nice idea about adding some fruit to our breakfast. I think you made a good point about requesting a quiet room if you like to sleep with the window open. We will always do all we can to make someone's stay better,

Where we lack in 5 star facilities we try and make up for in atmosphere. We have an amazing team of staff wow really enjoy having a laugh and entertaining guests but on the same hand they also respect those guest who prefer to be left alone. We are so pleased you enjoyed your holiday with us so much, it must have been a good match of hotel to guest. We would love for you to stay with us again, you are more than welcome anytime. decided I wanted to stay in the heart of hisaronu this trip, have stayed many times in ovacik before this trip. I never met Sarah Hulagu this trip, but Erdal Hulagu made sure my stay was a good one.
the hotel is basic but very clean, the maids do a fantastic job and are very friendly.
there is a nice clean big swimming pool which was never busy the 2 weeks I stayed there.
the hotel restaurant is nice with views up and down the strip, quality food at a good price. the Fajitas are the best I have ever had.
now on to the bar, red bar is one of the best bars in hisaronu, lively both day and night, and not many bars can say that, so they must be doing something right.
the bar staff are so good, loved Mehmet, baldy (he calls himself that) lol little Mehmet was always busy.Albert always said hello, in fact all the staff were very good. would I stay at Red hotel again???? too right I would.

I am sorry I did not get to meet you, our toddler is keeping me on my toes this year. I have to say Erdal, my husband likes to make sure everyone has a good holiday. İts nice to see you enjoyed the Fajitas. Our bar always has some kind of atmosphere day or night. The lads are always trying to keep you busy with the puzzles on the tables. It would be lovely if you could stay with us again. Thank you for the review.
