We stayed in the Glu for 4 nights before our trek in Patagonia. When we arrived from the airport, they helped us in from the cab. Instead of immediately getting down to business, they sat us down and served us coffee, After we had relaxed, they booked us in. It's a perfect location for exploring Buenos Aires. After our breakfast,...

The hotel is fairly small with 11 rooms over 3 floors. The rooms are spacious with balconies. The staff is wonderful, speaking fluent English and Spanish. They are very helpful, friendly. In the morning, you call the front desk and minutes later, breakfast is delivered to your room. They even remember your order from the previous day. Their laundry service...

For our first time in Buenos Aires, our family of four was unsure of where to stay as the city seems vast with many distinct areas to choose from. After reading previous stellar reviews of the Glu Hotel, we felt assured that this was the place to be and were not let down after our two night stay. From top...

The staff could not have been better. From hailing cabs, to recommending restaurants which met our mood to arranging tour tickets to Alehadra even helping our grandchild with a homework assignment. they made us feel like guests in an old London club

Rooms are over-sized and carpet free - a boon for allergy sufferers. Decor is spare, minimal and entirely to my personal taste. Try for a room at the back of the hotel, overlooking a small courtyard - much nicer. Tiny place- probably no more than 20 rooms. So, typical hotel facilities, such as room service, bar etc are missing. If...

Everything positive stated by other TripAdvisor contributors is echoed by my experiences at the Glu! A boutique hotel in a hip trendy area with large clean and comfortable rooms! What really sets this hotel apart is the customer service! The staff can't do enough to help you.....reservations, sight seeing and restaurant recommendations, providing drinks whenever you enter the lobby etc....

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
