I stayed at the 1st floor (there are three floors of the hostel, with different brands), the receptionists were really kindful, they gave you tips, help you with anything. The breakfast is good, there are eggs (that you have to cook by yourself)! When I asked for change my room (because I don't like high bed) they did and it...

It was confusing when I first arrived. There are different hostels on each floor. I stayed on the first floor. It was impossible to get any sleep. People kept coming into the room all hours of the night. Waking me up. The street noise was extremely loud. The breakfast was ok

The location is wonderful if you want to do touristy things around Buenos Aires. It is right on Avenida de Mayo and 2 minute walk from the nearest Sube station. There is also a bus stop right in front. It is very easy to walk to plaza congreso, 5 min. And 10 minutes in completely opposite directions to Plaza de...

The first night was very hard to sleep (till 5 am) when the music was finally off. People gather in the living room and close the door, but that was not enough. The building is old so you can hear everything. The chargers didn't work in my room, so I had to ask in the front desk to charge my...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in hostel estoril. The staff were very pleasant and friendly and assisted us with our navigation and Spanish. Central location right next to the metro. Lovely rooftop terrace.

Think of Parisian apartment building with antique lift in the middle of spiralling staircase which you have to manually close two screen doors before the lift can proceed to your designated floor. That’s what you see when entering the Hostel Estoril. Even the front entrance has the noble air with polished brass door handles and doorbell panel. Another bonus is...

Stayed here in a private room for two nights. Staff was great (friendly, willing to help with ideas on what to do, available, etc.). Great activities planned every night. Room was fine and clean. Location was excellent. Private room was next to one of the main streets in Buenos Aires -- it was extremely noisy throughout the night and the...

Here you will find the normal hostel experience of good quality that you will find in most cities. Prime feature of the place is its location: many sights of buenos aires can be visited walking and there is good public transport to others (i.e. last boca)

I stayed at Estoril for 3 nights. It was clean and the staff was nice. I got eggs for breakfast which was nice but I missed fruit. The hostel is located at the avenida de mayo, very cental but also a little noisy. I missed the social part of the hostel a bit. There wasn't so much going out together...

I stayed in a single room at Estoril for three nights- great city views, comfy. Really good central location close to the subway. Very nice staff- seemed genuinely upset that I never had breakfast at the hostel (nothing against the breakfast- always had other plans!)

Staying in Montserrat

Neighbourhood Profile
Montserrat
As part of the historic quarter of Buenos Aires, Montserrat is defined by the historical events that took place there and the landmarks that have stood the test of time. The Plaza de Mayo is at the center of this connection to history: countless public demonstrations have passed through this square, going back to the May Revolution of 1810. Walking the streets of Montserrat allows us to imagine what Buenos Aires may have looked like in the past: the Cabildo takes us back to the late 16th century, while the Palacio Barolo and the traditional cafés carry us to the early 20th. Nowadays, the neighbourhood is inundated every day by office workers, buses, and taxis; still, the cobblestones, narrow sidewalks, and subway stations from the 1910s remind us that we are surrounded by history everywhere we look.
