Stayed in a double room with private bathroom. Went on two walking tours; enjoyed the free breakfasts and lounged in the common areas. All great, relaxed and delivered with a smile by the enthusiastic and competent staff.
A lovely, clean hostel in the San Telmo area. The staff were the best part, they were so helpful with everything we needed. The hostel puts on walking tours and activities each day which is great, I'd definitely recommend the dinner & Tango show.

Great value for money, friendly staff. Wifi dropped out quite a bit while we were there but overall good place to stay. Within walking distance to all the good stuff in san telmo, markets, restaurants etc.
Stayed in suite double room with private bathroom. Fantastic place with great wifi. Location is even better. Staffs were very helpful. They even called restaurant to find out whether reservation was necessary. I loved staying this hostel.

Characterized by cobblestones and narrow streets, San Telmo is defined by the tango, the dance that made Buenos Aires world-famous. Tango is a fusion of many different cultures: a true child of immigration, much like the city itself. Nowadays, it comes alive after dark in the milongas (dance parties) attended by both locals and visitors alike, who dance until the wee hours of the morning. During the day, the antique
shops and classic cafés and bars around Plaza Dorrego dominate the scene. The emblematic Bar Plaza Dorrego, with its green awnings, checkered tile floors, and wooden interiors, takes you back in time the moment you step inside. For true porteño traditions, San Telmo is the place to be.

I do not speak Spanish either but had no trouble speaking English . I came from the airport by a bus/ taxi. Reasonably priced. I recommend you send an email to the hostel with your questions as they were very responsive... More
