Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. The hotel property is pretty nice and the room is quite comfortable and clean. The breakfast is not bad and plenty. But there are no facilities here. The pool is extremely small and the fitness is almost non existed... The wifi does not really work in my room but the lobby is fine....

Very nice hotel to stay in Recoleta neighborhood. Close to Cemetery and city tour bus stop. Good restaurants, shopping nearby. Staff is VERY helpful and the hotel is first class. Wifi and breakfast included in the rate. The mini bar can get a bit pricey but you can bring in water, snacks, etc from outside.

Excellent location of this small hotel in a great section of Recoleta. Rooms and common areas are impeccably clean. The room and bathroom are spacious and cleaning staff does a great job. Staff is attentive and accommodating [I had noise issues coming from the building next door and they switched me to a different room right away]. The breakfast is...

We stayed here for 4 nights in total during our visit to Buenos Aires. We stayed in two different rooms as we left to visit Iguazzu Falls in the middle of our stay and both rooms were spacious, comfortable and quiet, even though one rooms faced the main road and one faced the rear of the hotel. Breakfast is continental...

When first planning our pre-cruise stay in Buenos Aires, the tour company that arranged our two day trip to Iguazu offered this hotel as a part of a package. I declined on two counts: memories of HoJos from the turnpikes of family trips as a child and the quoted price of about $150 per night. Instead I booked two refundable...

we stayed in the Howard Johnson in Recoleta for 5 nights as part of an Argentinian tour. Lovely hotel - rooms were a decent size and very clean and well laid out. Breakfast was very good buffet style - set us up for the day. Although the hotel did not have a restaurant the location meant there were many good...

We stayed for three nights over three weeks during our South American trip, on each visit our Room was ready for us on arrival, including our ver early arrival on a Sunday morning after a long international flight, which was very welcome. This is a very nice hotel in the Recoleta area of Buenos Aires. It is very near to the beautiful Recoleta cemetary and the Recoleta mall. The service was really good with nice breakfast. The only thing is that this hotel has breakfast and you can also order snacks. However, they don't have any restaurant in the hotel. But it...

Neighbourhood Profile
Recoleta
Characterised by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighbourhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centred on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.
