This is a hostel where you better not stay. We stayed there for a week in a matrimonial room and it was the worst hostel in all of Argentina. Some examples to illustrate: 1) Excursions are offered online and in a booklet, but when you want to book one, nobody of the reception is able to help or book it....

I have checked in at the Amable Hostel in Buenos AIres for one night only. U$S 41 a night including breakfast means that you are not getting the Rochester or the Ritz service. It´s an ok hostal, although most of the days there was no breakfast. The single room has three beds and there is not much cleaning done, even when you request it.

Amable is a totally new hostel in Buenos Aires, run by a group of young porteños. The interior is brand new, in contemporary style with tiled bathrooms, air condition and cable tv (including English language programmes). There is WiFi and computers, a sun deck and the compulsory asado (barbecue grill). Each room as a safe for valuables. The staff is...
