After a lot of research and reading other reviews, I decided on The Duque. I was certainly glad that I did. From the time of making my reservation, and having a pre stay conversation with hotel staff ( Eva) by both phone and E-mail, I felt very comfortable and confident with their ease and competence , as well as mastery...

Was in Buenos Aires with 20. A bumped flight had me staying one extra night while my amigos went their separate ways. After two nights sharing a room with 3 other people and sleeping on a bed the size of a plank, the upgrade to comfort, king-size bed and luxury my last night in town felt so right. Hotel itself...

The hotel itself is ok - nothing special. Our room was only average. However, the location is great - easy walking distance to trendy Palermo (10 minutes), the staff are really helpful and the breakfast is nice. Overall - very good.

We were staying in a midsize double room which was functional and very clean, actually the entire hotel could be labeled that way, they make the most of all spaces. Internet connection in the room was OK. Breakfast was good and varied (tasty cakes) servers will bring you whatever you need. Coffee comes from 24h accessible machine (good) but the...

Without any reservations, I feel the greatest asset of this hotel is its staff. Eva, Rafael, Noah at the front desk (who all speak excellent English), as well housekeeping and the wonderful attitude of the breakfast lady, all make your stay here delightful. They make you feel like family. They go the extra step. The location is great if want...

Duque Hotel is what a boutique hotel should be. Great staff (from reception to the breakfast lady) treating you like a friend of the family. Personal style, not 'trendy', but warm and friendly. The garden (very rare in BA) is a little piece of paradise in the midst of the busy city. We spent much time there. The deluxe rooms...

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
