Our room was on the small side but that was fine. It was a beautiful room. Quiet. Window with a great view. Nice bathroom. Lovely decorations with the TV and bookcase in a recessed alcove. Even the paint colors and art in the room were perfect. And the rest of the hotel? Breakfast was pleasant with a number of choices....

Hotel Duque proved itself on many fronts to be a great choice in Buenos Aires for the traveler who wants environment, comfort, economy, and service for their stay in the city. First, their experience in hotel hospitality is evident: I had dealings with various staff over the course of 3+ days and each one was gracious, helpful, and positive. This...

Stayed here for 4 nights. Highly recommend it! Cozy small hotel with very friendly staff (the front desk staff speak good English, in the breakfast room mainly Spanish but they are extremely friendly and have created nice boards where you point which type of omelette you like etc) and excellent service. Arrived after a 13h flight and they still had...

Communications prior to arrival in setting up transportation to hotel were a real plus. Staff were most accommodating and gave excellent advice. Only negative was mattress lacked firmness to contour to one's body, and children playing loudly outside at 2200 hours made getting to sleep a bit challenging .

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
