We stayed at the hotel for three nights on two separate occasions while visiting Argentina. The location is great for exploring downtown Buenos Aires -- less than two blocks from Corrientes and an easy walk to several subway lines. The staff was very helpful with recommendations, directions, arranging airport transportation, luggage storage, etc. This is a small hotel, with about...

I found this hotel through hostel and backpackers' sites. And now I understand why: although it tries to pose as a boutique hotel, it is in fact a very small hotel with a very small structure. That is not a negative point in my opinion, and actually helps you get a more personal attention from the employees. Yamilla, Joaquim, German,...

Stayed here for 7 nights and thought at the end of it , that it was a good experience. I had to work at it though. To start with, when booking it, pay the rate quoted on booking.com, don't pay their website rate. It's much cheaper. Also they had a promotion, for 7 nights you got a free city tour,...

Though not everything was perfect, our experience at Vitral Baires was great! We stayed there 7 nights in total (5 nights before going to Patagonia and 2 more before coming back home). Te service was very good, specially by Germán who was always willing to solve our questions and help us with everythig. It's a small boutique hotel, very well...

Photos on hotel site are misleading. Small, grim looking place. No elevator. Narrow stairs. You got to carry your luggage upstairs by yourself. Disappointing and frustrating.

Vitral Baires Petit Hotel is a very good place to stay in Buenos Aires. Very well located, at Congreso, close to some metro stations (Subte) and some tourist attractions, like Cafe Tortoni. For those who like to walk, it's easy to go to some places by foot, like San Telmo. For those who don't have much time for walking, there's...

I stayed here for 7 nights in January 2011 and really enjoyed it. The rooms are very nicely furnished and comfortable. The included breakfast was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent - a short walk to Corrientes, with lots of restaurants, etc. We could also walk to Florida, Recoleta, and Congresso. I would definitely...

A small dining room but the breakfast choice was excellent. The bedroom was clean, comfortable and quiet. The location of the hotel for anyone walking around Buenos Aires is excellent.

I did my reservation three weeks in advance, got my confirmation, and provided my credit card and personal details as requested. Upon arrival to Le Vitral I was greeted with an utterly useless employee who informed me that they overbooked (again, as other reviews point out) and I was being relocated to another place. In the 3 weeks they couldn't...

We stayed at the Vitral Baires for 5 nights when we first arrived in Buenos Aires, and we were very happy with our choice. We had a superior room with a clean tiled bathroom and comfortable bed. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the location was good - quiet as it was not on a busy street, and...
