The hotel cheats their guests. They sold us a room, which in spite of the description at the hotel's web site did not have air conditioning working properly. The rooms were below the promised standard and did not seem to be very clean or inviting....More
I travel a lot and only have one prerequisite of a hotel and that is cleanliness. This place does definitely not make the grade in this respect. Mould around the washbasin, someone else's hair in the bathtub, bed and pillow dirty with stains on them,...More
The name of this hotel certainly exaggerates reality: it is not really artistic and uniqueness is doubtful. Rather the intensive use of the white color makes it rather dirty looking when considering the wear of the floorboards, originally of pure white color laminate.

Characterized by cobblestones and narrow streets, San Telmo is defined by the tango, the dance that made Buenos Aires world-famous. Tango is a fusion of many different cultures: a true child of immigration, much like the city itself. Nowadays, it comes alive after dark in the milongas (dance parties) attended by both locals and visitors alike, who dance until the wee hours of the morning. During the day, the antique
shops and classic cafés and bars around Plaza Dorrego dominate the scene. The emblematic Bar Plaza Dorrego, with its green awnings, checkered tile floors, and wooden interiors, takes you back in time the moment you step inside. For true porteño traditions, San Telmo is the place to be.
