The hostel itself if incredible, one of the best ive ever stayed. It is a highly social and fun environment but also has very clean and quiet rooms. I did two of the three walking tours whilst I was there and they were amazing! Our guide Macarena tells it like it is and knows everything you could ask. Highly recommend...

The hostel was great. A lot of friendly people, and lively parties. Easy to get to know people, really recomend it if you are traveling alone. I especially liked the tour at boca stadium with Macarena. She knows a lot about history in Buenos Aires. And she is so friendly and helpful.

It is true that Milhouse is a party hostel and if that's what you are looking for, you won't be disappointed. I didn't get much sleep while I was there as every night there is a party or bar you can go to if you so choose. It is a really big place so it is impossible to interact with...

I stayed 3 nights here and was never short of things to do! Did a walking tour to Palermo, city bike tour and went to the tango show. The hostel had great parties, lots of fun! If you want a quiet hostel, probably don't go here...very loud and difficult to sleep. It's great for solo travellers - very easy to...

Brilliant location. Very friendly and helpful staff. The food is really good in the hostel too. Fantastic activities planned for the whole week and it's all on display in the reception area. Make sure to do the Complejo Tango (lesson, dinner & dance). It's well worth the money and it's really fun. The La Boca walking tour is also a must...

My partner and I spent 5 nights at Milhouse Avenue. We stayed in a private double room with ensuite, it was spacious, clean and warm (in the freezing BA winter). The staff were very helpful and friendly and there was always something happening either at the Avenue or Hippo. We found Avenue had less parties than Hippo which was great...

Good hostel, helpful staff, clean rooms, decent showers, party hostel, awesome for meeting people, noisy at night, so if your one to go to bed early take ear plugs, because it was the other people going to bed after you that are all having conversations that wake you up. good fun at milhouse!

The hostel is located in the center of BA. The stuff is really friendly and they are always ready to help. The private room is really comfortable. If you would like to know more about the city you should look for Macarena!

Staying in Montserrat

Neighbourhood Profile
Montserrat
As part of the historic quarter of Buenos Aires, Montserrat is defined by the historical events that took place there and the landmarks that have stood the test of time. The Plaza de Mayo is at the center of this connection to history: countless public demonstrations have passed through this square, going back to the May Revolution of 1810. Walking the streets of Montserrat allows us to imagine what Buenos Aires may have looked like in the past: the Cabildo takes us back to the late 16th century, while the Palacio Barolo and the traditional cafés carry us to the early 20th. Nowadays, the neighbourhood is inundated every day by office workers, buses, and taxis; still, the cobblestones, narrow sidewalks, and subway stations from the 1910s remind us that we are surrounded by history everywhere we look.
