Quality of room was very good for price. Ask for a street side room and you will get a stunning view of the . la Recoleta Cemetary. If you don't get breakfast included, go to La Biela which is a famous cafe.on the other side of the cemetary. Room was large with a small kitchenette. Subway is a block away.

We stayed in Buenos Aires for one night in early March and we were very pleased with our choice of the Hotel Sileo. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and they spoke excellent English. Check-in was a breeze and the hotel was very accommodating in storing our luggage the next day, as we had a late evening flight out....

Room was very generous overlooking the famous Recoleta cemetery (where Eva Peron is entombed). Very close to the main tourist centre and convenient to walk around the local streets etc Being in the heart of tourist territory prices are a bit higher in the restaurants

The good: Great location (safe neighbourhood, multiple restaurants walking distance, 5 minutes to Las Heras sub station). The staff is very helpful and friendly. Big and light rooms. The average: Breakfast The only big disappointment was the transfer. We had asked the hotel the best way to get to the international airport. They recommended their car service for $600. Supposedly...

This little hotel was a delight. The staff were friendly and more than helpful. The location was ideal for walking to numerous sites and lovely little restaurants. The cemetery of the "well known" including Evita was across the street. The hotel room was spacious, had a balcony, was clean, comfortable and had a small kitchenette. The buffet breakfast had a...

We really enjoyed the 4 nights we had at the Sileo Hotel. Our room was very comfortable with a balcony and a fantastic view overlooking the cemetery. There is a small kitchenette where you could prepare something basic if you wanted. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Location was very handy to bars, cafes,...

Perfect location in the Recoleta neighborhood, and the views over the cemetery are AMAZING. The staff is very friendly (and English-speaking), the breakfast buffet is substantial (one morning there was a lovely flan), and the rooms are comfortable and spacious. The bathrooms are updated and clean. Would absolutely stay here again.

We stayed in January for two nights, and are really glad we selected this property for its view over Recoleta Cemetery, wonderfully large balcony and comfortable bed. The overall luxury and roominess of the accommodations were particularly appreciated.

We recently stayed for 2 nights at the Sileo hotel in BA. This is a charming boutique type hotel located in central BA. Its location is its finest asset. It is perfectly located in Recoleta, a safer area of BA, walking distance to most sites in BA and immediately across the street from BA's most famous cemetery (location of the...

Loved this hotel. Very convenient for the cemetery. Great views from the balcony. Good food options within walking distance. Spacious, clean with even a small kitchenette. Couldn't have been better and a great price too. Helpful staff.

Staying in Recoleta

Neighbourhood Profile
Recoleta
Characterised by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighbourhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centred on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.
