The hotel has a very great location and is easy to be reached by every kind of transport. When arriving at the hotel, a friendly valet takes over your luggage and leads you to the reception. At the reception you receive a warm welcome in surprisingly good English. We booked a room with two double beds, and the man at...

The hotel was very luxurious, but old. The room I was staying was like the photos in the tripadvisor, very good. However, the bathroom had water infiltration and flooded the part in front of the closet whenever I showered and or just after the bath. It was a nightmare! The portion in front of the closet was flooded during all...

The Lobby and public areas are very well maintained with fresh flowers and comfortable furniture. The free wifi in the Lobby is a great plus ... The rooms have been decorated in neutral warm colors and are quite large. The bathroom was clean with a tub and seperate shower stall ... comfortable beds with quality sheets. The breakfast was very...

I have a hard time reviewing here: if you stay in a room with Club Lounge access your impression may be totally different from the one you get when you don't. So here comes my review for a stay ***with*** Club Lounge access: The location is theoretically convenient to Plaza de Mayo (Casa Rosado), the (IMHO unnecessarily) famous Calle Florida...

We arrived here from our ship for our post cruise 3 day stay before going home. This hotel is very elegant, clean, quiet and the staff were super great. We had a wonderful room with a fantastic view from the 16th floor. It was large, great beds and big bathroom complete with tub, shower and even had a bidet! We...

We stayed here on points for two nites after our south american cruise. It's an older hotel that has been remodeled to meet Intercontintal standards, which it does. The reason I give it an average rating is while we walked all over town during the day, the hotel is in the "central" area has no bars or restaurants to walk...

This is an architecturally pleasing hotel. Nice welcoming lobby, pleasant bar and seating areas, all tastefully and charmingly decorated. The rooms are also big, with very comfortable beds - full night's sleep despite being jet-lagged, always a good sign. Breakfasts are excellent too. Only black mark - room servicing is a bit random. Small irritations like coffee sachets, bottled water,...

Staying in Montserrat

Neighbourhood Profile
Montserrat
As part of the historic quarter of Buenos Aires, Montserrat is defined by the historical events that took place there and the landmarks that have stood the test of time. The Plaza de Mayo is at the center of this connection to history: countless public demonstrations have passed through this square, going back to the May Revolution of 1810. Walking the streets of Montserrat allows us to imagine what Buenos Aires may have looked like in the past: the Cabildo takes us back to the late 16th century, while the Palacio Barolo and the traditional cafés carry us to the early 20th. Nowadays, the neighbourhood is inundated every day by office workers, buses, and taxis; still, the cobblestones, narrow sidewalks, and subway stations from the 1910s remind us that we are surrounded by history everywhere we look.
