Upon arrival we was given a twin room but they instantly changed it to a double without any fuss. The room was big, clean and comfortable with complimentary tea and coffee. The breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold food. Unfortunately I cannot comment on the lunch or dinner as we didn't eat there. The location is great...

Good hotel, though a bit old fashioned and rooms are outdated and need a maintenance upgrade, the rooms are comfortable and have all needed amenities. Laundry form without prices on it which was quite strange. Breakfast was good. Location in a nice street with some restaurants and easy access to city sights. Recommended for business people.

I stayed at the Brick twice,10 days between visits. Because of travel arrangements we hadn't time to explore the area. The hotel is in a nice quiet area and has an impressive entrance with friendly, and efficient door staff. The friendly reception staff are efficient. The rooms are comfortable as are the beds. Breakfast was ok, on our second visit...

If you're looking for a clean, modern and centered hotel; this is the one for you. The staff are really nice, the rooms are clean, it's close to the beautiful things in B.A and even if the food could be better, it still was worth its value and overall a good stay.

The hotel has an impressive lobby, modern and stylish. The staff are extremely helpful and the service excellent across the board. The location is also ideal. However for a hotel of this quality the rooms, although spacious, are in need of updating as are the bathrooms. On the plus side the beds are very comfortable although from our room (204)...

Well, the hotel itself looks good from the outside. The rooms are come into years and the shower is yellow instead of its original white color. The breakfast is nothing special, with regular coffee. You can order freshly made eggs, try the Eggs Benedict, they replaced the hollandaise with melted butter...let's call it special... My main concern with this hotel...

Staying in Retiro

Neighbourhood Profile
Retiro
Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the port, mean this neighbourhood is never truly at rest. One minute you are walking down a street dotted with ornate mansions and luxurious shop windows and the next you find yourself surrounded by a sea of people racing to catch their train or bus. It is this juxtaposition of never-ending comings and goings and quiet, elegant luxury that defines Retiro, as well as Buenos Aires, a city where sharp contrasts are all around.
