I stayed here three nights, having booked on Priceline at $70/night. For that rate, this was a very decent hotel right in the center of Buenos Aires downtown area. A few blocks away from the subway (Subte), half a block from Florida, etc. Can't complain about that. A taxi to Palermo or other locations around town will cost you at... More

Very close to the Obelisco and to the Calle Florida, easy to go to any place in town. Sauna has the marvelous view of the city. Frontdesk attendants are so nice and prestative, I totally recommend them!

This hotel in the heart of Buenos Aires does have a good location. The staff is friendly enough and helpful. The property itself however, looks like it has a late 1970s/early 1980s feel, that really needs some sprucing up. Elevators are slow. Rooms while comfortable enough, still seem a bit tired. Pillows are not very comfortable

The hotel is right downtown, one block from Florida and only a few from 9 Julio. Despite this, it proved a restful place for a week-long stay. Check-in was smooth and efficient and, despite an early arrival off an overnight flight, the room was ready. The room was spotless and very comfortable; despite overlooking the main street I never had... More

I thoroughly enjoyed my short stay at this hotel and it is unfortunate that the price will be out of range for many travellers. Friendly reception staff, including the doorman; wonderfully comfortable rooms; excellent buffet breakfast with attentive serving staff; excellent location within walking distance to tourism hot spots (corner Maipu); in the vicinity of many good shops and restaurants;... Only stayed one night, but had a very quick check in and check out. And this was when quite a few people were also checking in. Good drinks in the lobby bar. Room was good sized and well appointed. Bathroom was gleaming.

The Sheraton Libertador is located in the heart of Buenos Aires, a half block from the Calle Florida pedestrian shopping mall and just a few blocks from Avenida 9 de Julio -- the city's main boulevard. Service is friendly, rooms are large and on-site food and beverage options are good. The hotel features a high-rise swimming pool and fitness center... More

Fairly OK hotel for the price, staff were helpful and rooms good. A little dated and the wind tends to whistle round the windows. Choose a room on the inside away from the street. Very good and central location

San Nicolas
Immersed in the sound of honking horns and the footsteps of busy office workers, the Microcentro area of San Nicolás is where visitors will encounter the true hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires, walking down streets lined with office buildings and banks. The financial district is well-known for its vibrant atmosphere and unstoppable rhythm during office hours.
