Great hotel, with the most comfortable beds and superbly run. The breakfasts are amazing, and the staff superb. Our only negative was that you couldn't swim before 9am, and as the pool was the main reason for booking there, this was a shame as a morning swim didn't work on either days due to plans made in advance. Well situated...

One expects a lot when one stays at a Four Seasons and this hotel delivers. The hotel is slick and immaculate and the staff are very attentive and responsive. Almost all of the desk staff and wait staff speak English well. The hotel is located in an upscale part of the city with easy access (and walking distance) to many...

Good location, good beds, but the linens and towels was good, but not special. The staff eager to accommodate requests. The hotel is next to city highway and therefore it is not possible to open windows. Nice sauna and steam and some lovely luxurious touches in the room and guest areas. The restaurant and the breakfast were nice.

We stayed twice in early January 2017 - with a 3 day trip to Iguazu Falls in between. Let's go through the good stuff first. On our first visit we were welcomed by name as we arrived and taken directly to our Junior Suite. The suite was spacious and very nicely decorated. The bed was really comfortable and the bed...

As all the Four Seasons hotel is in beautiful building with appropriate facilities. The hotel is located in the hearth of the city, walking distance from many attractions. We experienced a very confortable and quite room located at fifth floor. Slightly disappointing is the swimming pool, small and rounded by other buildings, so it is not so attractive. I recommend...

Centrally located with great hotel restaurants and many within walking distance. Easy to use taxis and fantastic steak to be had. Tango show a must and a day trip to La Boca district. Malbec is not to be missed. MALBA was inspiring and visited Opera house now bookshop.

All Four Seasons hotels are comfortable, to say the least. The one in Buenos Aires is located in the Recoletas, a fancy but also friendly neighborhood with great restaurants, shopping and within walking to distance to the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes and MALBA museums. I guess I don't need to say that the accommodations are beyond comfortable, the food...

A great stop over in this lovely interesting city. Good size room which was nice and quiet. High quality breakfast with great selection. Didnt use any of the facilities as we were out sightseeing all day, but would stop here again if in BA.

My husband and I were thrilled with our experience at the Four Seasons in Buenos Aires. The hotel was beautifully decorated; We were welcomed with smiles and the best service that we have ever experienced, from check-in to check-out. We were upgraded to a suite that was very comfortable. There was a note and a box of candy awaiting us....

Staying in Retiro

Neighbourhood Profile
Retiro
Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the port, mean this neighbourhood is never truly at rest. One minute you are walking down a street dotted with ornate mansions and luxurious shop windows and the next you find yourself surrounded by a sea of people racing to catch their train or bus. It is this juxtaposition of never-ending comings and goings and quiet, elegant luxury that defines Retiro, as well as Buenos Aires, a city where sharp contrasts are all around.
