My wife and I had stayed here six years ago, before we had kids, and came back with two young children. The property itself has gone through a major renovation, so the rooms were very updated, really great. They also added a beautiful pool, right opposite the hundred year old 'mansion'. What hadn't changed was the incredible service, what you...

My family and I stayed for four nights at this exquisite property and could not have been more impressed. We reserved a suite on the 8th floor and found the room to be spacious, immaculate, beautifully appointed, and equipped with an extremely large, modern bathroom. The pool area is small but as a result, very intimate, and we found all...

This stay was the cap for a multi week trip, and so I chose the 4S so I would have no surprises and could count on pleasant relaxation to end our travels. We stayed in a Junior suite ($900 usd per night) connecting with a double bedded room ($700 per night), on the 6th floor facing the mansion and overlooking...

The Four Seasons Buenos Aires had excellent food and service in primary restaurants! HOWEVER: Pool area food service was inflexible...no tables and rude staff and after paying extra for e-level, the benefits were basically none.

I am rating this Hotel as 3 Stars, in the context of a Four Seasons. We stayed on the E-Level (Club or Executive Level) floor and it was without question the biggest rip off of any Club Level floor I have every stayed at (and I've stayed on the club level of all the luxury hotel chains). The amenities for...

Having stayed with the Four Seasons before on many of our family vacations I was familiar with their level of customer service and attention to detail. However nothing could have prepared me for the astounding level of service we received from the Team at the Buenos Aires location. We were meeting the rest of my family there, as a surprise...

I stayed at the Four Seasons a year and a half ago and loved it so much I decided to splurge again last month when I was back in Buenos Aires. It was perfection then, and was perfection last month. The hotel is well situated. You can walk to several shopping areas and historical sites. Hotel staff are very friendly,...

From check-in to dining to housekeeping to concierge services, the Four Seasons continues its tradition of the highest quality service and accommodations. Staff never misses a beat, and though the views from some rooms may not be the best (if that's important to you be sure to check that you are not facing the highway) the rooms and common areas...

In all my years as a world traveler the only hotel I have been to that comes close to this is another Four Seasons property in Thailand. The Buenos Aires Four Seasons has now taken top spot because I simply cannot fault anything about my stay. Our suite was superb, spacious and well equipped, the view to the rear over...

I spent a 4 nights in this hotel at the end of a business trip in South America. Having arrived late evening on a Wednesday my fellow travellers and I received excellent service at the check in desk. Our cases were quickly delivered to our rooms which allowed me to unpack before climbing into the huge double bed that was...

Thank you for your review. I am very happy to hear that you enjoyed our facilities and services. As you mentioned our Elena restaurant several times, I will also add that Elena has been named one of the 50 Top Restaurants of Latin America by San Pellegrino. Staying in Retiro

Neighbourhood Profile
Retiro
Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the port, mean this neighbourhood is never truly at rest. One minute you are walking down a street dotted with ornate mansions and luxurious shop windows and the next you find yourself surrounded by a sea of people racing to catch their train or bus. It is this juxtaposition of never-ending comings and goings and quiet, elegant luxury that defines Retiro, as well as Buenos Aires, a city where sharp contrasts are all around.
