The room very nice, you do have to ask for feather pillows, the regular ones are terrible. Maid service excellent. Very clean. Buffett breakfast excellent. Great location, next to great shopping ,restaurants and transportation. The staff bilingual, very helpful.

I experience how a stay can vary from 2 to 4 stars during my stay. The first room I checked into had a completely broken window that wasn't even secured shut. The bed skirt was stained and the sheets on the bed were stained as well. Why would they check anyone into this room? After going back to the lobby...

I am staying on this hotel since 2013 on frequently basis and I think they need to revamp ASAP. I think if something is not done to upgrade the rooms, breakfast, service, etc... they will suffer with the new hotels around. Nice chain but is easy to see that no investment is done on a long time.

I've stayed here three times now, really good hotel with great staff and superb breakfast. Very good size rooms, very handy to be right in the centre and in easy walking distance to shops, bars and Restaurants

Located literally across the street from popular hangouts with outdoor seating. It gets a little crazy at night on the weekends. But I had a room on 7th floor and didn't hear a thing! My room was quiet, clean and comfortable. It was relatively modern and large. Got a queen bed. Convention center in the hotel was very convenient. The...

This is a hotel in the business district of Buenos Aires and is very much geared for the business man or woman. I stayed here two years ago and found it well located, adequate and peaceful. Functional more than spectacular. Having just returned not much has changed everything remains just about adequate however the once quiet bars on the street...

The hotel is old and not well kept. The service is terrible, people at front desk are rude and don't care for guests. A lot of noise coming from the old hydraulic system and several water infiltration spots. The location is the only good thing.

Upscale high-value hotel with many amenities. Terrific English speaking service. Excellent downtown location near shopping malls, restaurants, bars, etc. Full breakfast included in our rate. Lots of restaurants within walking distance ranging from Argentinean comfort food to upscale steakhouses, all very affordable thanks to favorable exchange rates. Everybody prefers US$ to the peso because of inflation, and your money goes...

Staying in Retiro

Neighbourhood Profile
Retiro
Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the port, mean this neighbourhood is never truly at rest. One minute you are walking down a street dotted with ornate mansions and luxurious shop windows and the next you find yourself surrounded by a sea of people racing to catch their train or bus. It is this juxtaposition of never-ending comings and goings and quiet, elegant luxury that defines Retiro, as well as Buenos Aires, a city where sharp contrasts are all around.
