Stayed in Feirs Park in Buenos Aires for 5 nights in Feb 2017. Loved it! Rooms are huge. Refrigerator in room but take their items out and put your own in or you'll pay. There's a small supermarket directly across the street. The staff is fantastic. Check-in and out is easy and you can leave your luggage with front desk/bellman...

We have just stayed at this hotel for a 2 night post cruise stay. We found the staff very helpful and friendly and had a large comfy room on the 8th floor at the rear of the hotel with no traffic noise. They provide a great breakfast, and we found the other food in the restaurant good value and large...

Stayed here before leaving for a polar exploration and they kindly allowed us to leave excess luggage as we planned to stay upon our return. Supermarket directly across the road and the dock area within a 15 min walk. Rooms were spacious and clean. Around $89 US as we booked on line (walk in price $145) for an executive suite...

Stayed for 2 nights pre cruise, Orasio on reception was really helpful, the room size is huge, and you can walk to most of the sights. There is a supermarket over the road for any emergency supplies, and we ate dinner in the hotel which was excellent. I would agree it's not UK standard 5*, but it isn't in the...

Small hotel, not a bad location as walkable or taxi ride to the main attractions and shopping. Rooms very basic. Purport to be suites but all they have is a dining table and chairs. White furniture looks like it is made by Ikea. Bathroom very small with toilet tucked in a corner that is almost impossible to get on or...

This hotel prides itself to be a 5 star hotel and in some few things it is and quite a few more like a 3 star hotel. Let's start from service. Reception and restaurant people are nice, attentive and always ready to help with great attitude, some of the porters are not and room service is pretty weak. The rooms......

Staying in Retiro

Neighbourhood Profile
Retiro
Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the port, mean this neighbourhood is never truly at rest. One minute you are walking down a street dotted with ornate mansions and luxurious shop windows and the next you find yourself surrounded by a sea of people racing to catch their train or bus. It is this juxtaposition of never-ending comings and goings and quiet, elegant luxury that defines Retiro, as well as Buenos Aires, a city where sharp contrasts are all around.
