I express my un-convenience to stay there through Expedia staff at least two days before. Normally Expedia staff can convince hotel to understand the situation even originally it's non-refundable, but they failed this time. Besides, I even took efforts (across half BA city distance) and in-person explain my situation at Feir's hotel front desk, but reception staff didn't have any...

We stayed in Feir's Park before departing on a cruise. The rooms are comfortable, large and very clean. The furniture is dated and some repair work could be done especially in the bathroom. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast wasn't great but adequate. Location is good on a quiet street with plenty of taxis going by. I would stay...

Pros: 1. Huge room 2. Our room had a beautiful balcony, albeit no views. 3. Breakfast available but not great, mostly carbs. The sausage and bacon was horrible and the eggs had no salt. Try the poppy seed cake though, that was good. Cons: 1. Shoddy construction in the room, the floors creaked near the bathroom - no counter space...

This hotel is listed as 5 stars, but we were sorely disappointed overall. The rooms are large, the bathroom minuscule, and the air conditioner noisy. Hallways and rooms all need updating and remodeling; carpets, wallpaper, etc... Our room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke . The bed was comfortable, but the room is shaped in such a way that we had to...

Although room 303 had no view at all to speak of (concrete wall and balcony of another building), this is a perfect hotel to base yourself in for its convenient and quality position, cleanliness and service.

Hotel quite well presented in good location close to rail and bus stations. 10 - 15 minute walk to city centre "Calle Florida" busy shopping area etc. Front bedrooms facing onto main road which can be quite noisy at night . Bathroom small and a bit cramped also looking tired. Staff were welcoming and friendly, room was adequate quite large...

I feel home each time I travel to Buenos Aires. The same personal welcomes you each trip. Over the year you have the same people working there and this for me is important and talks very well for the hotel. Maybe this building is not massive but feels good. The rooms are really big and you feel comfortable.I can see the...

Check in was easy and they have a generous check out time of noon. The room was very large with a kitchenette , a dining area, a writing table, large bed, balcony, and still more space left. It smelled of paint, suggesting recent renovations, but still had vestiges of its dated history, such as peeling laminate floors and fluorescent lights,...

We were upgraded to an executive suite for my birthday and suprised with champagne and chocolate cake by the wonderful staff 😊. The hotel also arranged for us to see a live tango show which was brilliant to say the least!! I had the best birthday!! The breakfast was a bit disappointing, however; there was a good variety of options....

I loved the room. My colleague in Buenos Aires set up the reservation so I am not sure if all the rooms are the same. I really enjoyed the swimming pool on the roof overlooking the city. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.

Staying in Retiro

Neighbourhood Profile
Retiro
Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the port, mean this neighbourhood is never truly at rest. One minute you are walking down a street dotted with ornate mansions and luxurious shop windows and the next you find yourself surrounded by a sea of people racing to catch their train or bus. It is this juxtaposition of never-ending comings and goings and quiet, elegant luxury that defines Retiro, as well as Buenos Aires, a city where sharp contrasts are all around.
