Booked in after Sofitel was closed. Solid overnight hotel with a great market across the street. Accommodating front desk and bell staff. Nice breakfast included.
On room, small balcony and low level ac. Otherwise, safe entry. Nice rooftop pool.
We stayed there for 4 nights. Retiro area close to a train station. The room was spacious but tired. The ventilation of the bathroom was not working so after every shower was very steamy and smelly after every poo. The cleaners are terrible! Did not...More
It is an old building, the room was nice but the hotel is not a 5 star at an international standard.
The room was missing the robes it said it had, and we asked for them twice and never got them.
The breakfast was ok....More
We are in Argentina for two weeks and are delighted that we chose Feirs Park Hotel as our base. Firstly the hotel itself; the rooms are generous and spacious making the hotel stay a more enjoyable and relaxing experience. The rooms that we stayed in...More
Arrived for 2 night stay post-cruise. Excellent location and easy walk to most attractions. All staff very helpful and most spoke good English. Very large room with outdoor patio (room 107) but no chairs! Kitchenette area not used but did notice had to pay for...More
Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the port, mean this neighbourhood is never truly at rest. One minute you are walking down a street dotted with
ornate mansions and luxurious shop windows and the next you find yourself surrounded by a sea of people racing to catch their train or bus. It is this juxtaposition of never-ending comings and goings and quiet, elegant luxury that defines Retiro, as well as Buenos Aires, a city where sharp contrasts are all around.

We hired a taxi from one of the taxi companies that are inside the airport tucked in a corner. We were told the one just outside was more expensive. They all post their flat rate price in US dollars and Argentinian. We picked the lowest and prepaid with visa. I think it was about $30 US. It worked well.
