Stayed at this hotel for 8 nights from November 11 to November 19. This hotel has an amazing staff from the front desk to housekeeping to restaurant and bar. They really took care of myself and 11 other guys with me. We were on a...More

The location was within walking distance to many major sites, so great location. The staff there was simply superb, very helpful with locations, restaurant recommendations, and other items. Breakfast was nicely done. Work out gym needs some updating and improvement. Right next to national cemetery,...More

Our first night in Buenos Aires following the 14 hour BA flight (club world, great staff old plane!) so it was really a resting spot before the holiday for real. The suites are a nice size with a contemporary feel. We arrived mid morning in...More
The hotel is located at a very nice neighborhood and right at the center of actions. There are many historic sites within a few blocks. You can find many parks and very nice restaurants within 3-5minutes walk.

A well appointed hotel in a reasonable area with easy access to shopping, restaurants and amenities. The breakfast in the atrium area is well worth doing...twice. Try to get that included in your room rate. The "exercise room" is disappointing: if the idea is to...More

Characterised by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighbourhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll
also find a rich cultural scene centred on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.

The hotel has a wheelchair ramp at the front entrance. The bell hops and front desk people are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms with bathtubs, that I have experienced, have steps going into the tubs that might be inconvenient for your purposes. Staff will readily help you tho and they have bathrobes if needed. Hope this helps. Stay on the backside of the hotel for less noise from the Main Street, Vincente Lopez, which is busy in rush hours.

You can either arrange a taxi at Buenos Aires airport (there is a very good booth and you can choose whichever service you like, I hear the best are Radio Taxi's. They are registered and there is no real problem with getting cheated), or alternatively book one in advance. I booked one in advance and it worked out well on a website called Suntranfers. They were the cheapest at about 40 euro, but I think if you just go to the wicket at BA airport, it will even be cheaper.
BA is a great city. The hotel had great restaurant recommendations and the best Italian meal we had in many years was in a restaurant call Pecora Negro or something like that. Try it out!
