We stayed at Loi Suites for about a week (arriving Easter Saturday-entire place shut down until Wednesday :/ ). We thought it was a comfortable hotel (nothing special) and would book it again if need be, however next time we come to Buenos Aires would...More
Upon arrival in BA this was the first hotel we stayed at in the city. The biggest plus for this hotel is its location. On weekends you are very close to an open market, there are countless restaurants within a few minutes walking distance, and...More
I stayed here on a recent group tour and found my opinion to be split.
The walls are paper thin as noted by other reviewers and if you need your sleep, this may present a problem since there is no recourse for management.
This is my second stay in the hotel. I did not like it first time. I still don't like it.
First of all the rooms are tiny, the bathroom in the room is so small and kind of smelly.
The walls are so thin because...More
We stayed several nights in this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is very convenient to Recoleta Cemetery ( a great tourist attraction), shopping plaza, restaurants ( we
recommend NOT eating at the touristy ones near the cemetery) and a very safe area....More

Characterised by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighbourhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll
also find a rich cultural scene centred on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.

The hotel has a wheelchair ramp at the front entrance. The bell hops and front desk people are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms with bathtubs, that I have experienced, have steps going into the tubs that might be inconvenient for your purposes. Staff will readily help you tho and they have bathrobes if needed. Hope this helps. Stay on the backside of the hotel for less noise from the Main Street, Vincente Lopez, which is busy in rush hours.

You can either arrange a taxi at Buenos Aires airport (there is a very good booth and you can choose whichever service you like, I hear the best are Radio Taxi's. They are registered and there is no real problem with getting cheated), or alternatively book one in advance. I booked one in advance and it worked out well on a website called Suntranfers. They were the cheapest at about 40 euro, but I think if you just go to the wicket at BA airport, it will even be cheaper.
BA is a great city. The hotel had great restaurant recommendations and the best Italian meal we had in many years was in a restaurant call Pecora Negro or something like that. Try it out!
