Definitely the best hostel I've ever stayed. You shouldn't go there if you want a quiet hostel. There's always a party going on, lots of people, amazing staff.. It's really close to all the main attractions in Buenos Aires and they'll give you great tips on where to go and what to see. It used to be always hard to...

An amazing hostel near everything and with good staff. All the night have something to do, if you're going to ba, you should stay here! You can stay in a private room or one shared room with too many optional. The bar is really cool and one place good to make new friends and meet the guys.

Very young and social hostel! The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, especially considering we had very little Spanish, they were able to help us with attractions and advice on getting to places, where to eat etc. They also organised small day tours with others from the hostel - such a La Boca which was fantastic! The social atmosphere was...

A great hostel for getting everyone to go out at night, but the top bunks without barriers are terrifying. I met 2 people in a week who had fallen from them! The hostel was so big that it was difficult to meet people other than your room mates, as the common areas were not very social. Wifi in common area...

Staying in Montserrat

Neighbourhood Profile
Montserrat
As part of the historic quarter of Buenos Aires, Montserrat is defined by the historical events that took place there and the landmarks that have stood the test of time. The Plaza de Mayo is at the center of this connection to history: countless public demonstrations have passed through this square, going back to the May Revolution of 1810. Walking the streets of Montserrat allows us to imagine what Buenos Aires may have looked like in the past: the Cabildo takes us back to the late 16th century, while the Palacio Barolo and the traditional cafés carry us to the early 20th. Nowadays, the neighbourhood is inundated every day by office workers, buses, and taxis; still, the cobblestones, narrow sidewalks, and subway stations from the 1910s remind us that we are surrounded by history everywhere we look.
