We enjoyed our stay at the Krista hotel. Welcoming and helpful staff. Comfortable and quiet. Convenient for local transport and a variety of bars and restaurants.

A beautiful, stylish and very romantic little hotel! Rooms were beautiful, clean and very comfortable while staff was professional, and incredibly friendly and helpful. I can recommend booking the onsite massage – it was excellent – and a great antidote to the rigours of exploring the city.

The staff at the Hotel Krista were very helpful with information about the area. They also called taxis for us and offered us refreshments in the lobby. There is a computer in the lobby free for guests to check e-mails. The rooms are smallish, but lovely and well-appointed. Everything was very clean. The hotel has the lobby as well as...

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Krista Our suite was spacious and well equipped. It was also quiet with excellent air conditioning. The only negative was that the bathroom needed a new coat of paint. As other reviews indicated, the staff is wonderful. They were helpful and caring and that really enhanced our stay. Due to some airline problems, we...

We spent a few days at Krista and it was immensely enjoyable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If it helps, all of the staff speak English. There are only a few rooms so the staff recognize all of the guests. The hotel is right in the middle of Palermo amidst a number of restaurants and bars. Cons: We...

We stayed here for three nights as part of our tour around South America. On arrival we were greeted by an extremely helpful man who gave us lots of information about the hotel and the local area before very kindly helping us with our cases up to our first floor room (there is no lift). No sooner was he gone...

The most exceptional aspect of this hotel was the staff. They couldn't have been nicer, more helpful, or more accommodating. Anything that we asked for, needed, or requested was produced immediately, with pleasantness and with a personal attentiveness to make our stay wonderful. There were a few problematic aspects, though. First, let me say, with full disclosure, my family calls...

This is a nice looking boutique hotel, acceptable quality with beautiful communal areas but I would have expected a better room standard for the price paid. Positives: Beautifully decorated / furnished breakfast area and lobby. Lovely fresh breakfast of home-made bread, freshly cooked eggs, fresh fruit, tea / coffee and juice. Negatives: We booked a standard room, the cheapest in...

We stayed three nights at Krista at the end of a trip that included four other hotels in Chile and Argentina. The headline says it all; The hotel is located at the edeg of of an area that has bars and small shops and is dripping in period charm ( it was apparently Eva Peron's doctor's house) but it trades...

We booked Krista on the back of the Tripadvisor reviews. Our expectations were high, as the other three hotels we stayed at on our trip - all chosen using Tripadvisor - were excellent. Having arrived from El Calafate, where we stayed at the excellent Los Sauces, we found Krista disappointing. Perhaps it is not fair to compare it to the...

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.

The hotel has a lively area for pleasure and rest, where you can enjoy an special therapeutic massage. This is excellent way to relieve your stress. It stands out for the quality of contact expressed through the gentleness and sensivity of the hands, whilst the highest quality pure natural oils are being use.
